Super cute and well made but too tight in the toe box, would recommend going up 1/2 in size

I appreciate the roomy toe box! I use a half insert and they fit great! I'm a walker of 12-14+ a week with no more metatarsalgia pain since wearing ghost 14s and now the Maxx. The ghost maxx seem even more comfortable than my 14s! So exciting to put on a pair of athletic shoes that you know will support your foot comfortably through your workout/walk! Speedy delivery, great customer service! Love the ghost maxx, love the brand. Will be back for more!

Purchased this 4 months back its been the best experience so far enough cushion for joints making workout very comfortable.

Lightweight and comfortable

Ive worn Brooks shoes for over 20 years & the Ghost Max is by far the best shoe I have ever worn! There is so much room in the toe bed & it feels like walking on clouds. Would highly recommend this shoe for those needing a wide width & an amazing shoe for walking & working out in.

These shoes are amazing. My 12 hr shifts are so much better after getting these.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! These are so comfortable that I went back for a second pair. I got the bright pink and the black with apricot accent. I love them both. My feet say thank you!!! They provide the cushion my feet need along with plenty of support. I literally do not want to take them off my feet! I wish they came in more fun and cheerful colors like electric blue and bright bold red even blended bold happy colors. Thank you Brooks!

Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.

Great if you want maximum cushioning and a really supportive shoe. I spend all day on my feet with lots of walking and these shoes make that possible. The shape of the shoe provides gentle forward momentum as you walk. Haven't run in them, but I suspect they would be great for that too.

Ive had a pair of brooks for work and I loved them but these ones exceeded my expectations! Super comfortable throughout my whole 12 hour shift. Recommend them to all of my healthcare workers who are standing/walking for long hours.

Poor quality. I bought these for my job as a nurse and they very quickly wore out. I stopped wearing them within 4 months of use because my feet ache when I do. Save your money.

Absolutely love my ghost masks they were originally going to be a gym only shoe but have now turned into an all occasion shoe! Will definitely be getting another pair!

Ok I rarely leave reviews but right now I am so thrilled and I need to share . I walk 5 miles most days . I have normal width feet but need extra width in the toe box and metatarsal area . The rest of my foot and heel is very average and too much width in a shoe in the heel and ankle area will not work . I have worn hoka Cliftons and bondis for years . The pain in my metatarsal area continues to get worse and I finally got custom orthotics . Recently, they are not relieving the metatarsal pain I discussed with my foot doctor and he felt that even though I was wearing the hoka a in a wide the toe box itself was still basically narrow . I wore Brooks years ago and after reading about dozens of sneakers and brands I settled on trying the ghost max . My foot has been hurting even when sitting . I put on these sneakers and shockingly they offered instant relief , without my orthotics . No slip in the heel at all and the toe box is truly wide without looking ridiculous . At this point I would have accepted looking ridiculous for pain relief but these sneakers are great looking ! I got the black with blue and pink accents . They are not over the top loud yet not boring and not old lady looking . The black is more of a very inky dusk blue hedging on a soft black I am a complete fan . I shy away from white because I cant stand when they are dirty and black is usually to harsh . These are perfect ! Even though the bottoms appear not as bulky as Hoka they actually feel more cushioned and forgiving , taking away pressure from the metatarsal area They are light . If you have metatarsal pain or looking for a truly roomy toe box without a wide fit in the heel and ankle try these ! And Brooks please dont mess with these They are a really good thing ! Tons true to size . I wear a 7 1/2 wide in Hoka and the same in these .

Best walking/running shoes I ever had.

The Ghost Max is definitely cushiony and visually appealing. Seems well constructed for all intents and purposes. However, this Max version has left my ankles torn up, backs and outer sides. The shoe comes up way too high and rubs everything the wrong way. Even though I ordered the normal width, this shoe feels roomier in general and contributes further to the friction against ankles. If it works for your feet, it's a great shoe, but they do not function well for me.

The shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. I can't rate them higher secondary to the toe box indenting and the shoe not holding shape. The sole also sheers easily. For the price, the last ability isn't up to standard.

I stand 8 hours a day working in retail before Ghost Max by the end of the day my feet and lower legs were hurting. Now that I have Ghost Max I can do the happy dance afterwards.

The shoe itself is good overall for light walking.running. The treads on the bottom are smooth making the soles a little slick. The Mens light grey with green were the ones purchased and get dirty and stain easily so for that reason I wouldnt recommend that color for wearing outdoor. Treadmill might be better. Got approximately 7 months out of them with 1-4 miles walking daily.

I love my Ghost Max! I have been running half marathons for the past three years and started to develop ball of foot pain around the 4mi mark.inserts helped but caused blisters. When I read about the Ghost Max I was so hopeful this shoe would help me and Im thrilled to report it has! Ive been wearing them for two weeks and so far my longest run was 7mi and not only did I not experience the ball of foot pain but I was able to run negative splits the whole 7 and hit some of my best paces. These shoes are surprisingly lightweight for how cushioned they are. Normally I only wear my running shoes for running but I find myself wanting to wear these for day to day things like walking the dog and taking the kids out to play. If youve had any foot pain while running you should give them a try!

The ghost max were comfortable right out of the box. I was having lower back issues and after using these shoes for a week, the back pain was gone. I like the roomy feel of the ghost max. I have ordered ghost shoes for years but was needing a shoe with more cushioning and less heel to toe drop. I am not a runner but walk many miles in a week. I had knee replacement surgery 8 months ago. The cushioning on the sole makes walking very enjoyable. My legs aren't tired after a long walk.
