Have always bought glycerin and didn't care for the ghost because even though it was a neutral shoe, the cushioning didn't come close to the glycerin. The Max, however, is excellent. I'm sorry but the pricing is ridiculous. I have to replace every 6 months because the tread wears down. Wish you would make bright colors in wide width.

These are BY FAR the most comfortable shoes I own. No break in period, lightweight and its like walking on a cloud. I just need them to come in leopard print! Highly recommend!

My wife has a severely ruined disk in her back and has been unable to run for nearly 2 years. I got her these shoes and she has been comfortably jogging since they arrived.

I am still deciding about the Ghost Max. Its very reactive. I like the look of them. Still wearing my Ghost 15s more

I have worn Ghosts for man years now. Ghost Max was a game changer for me. Gave my foot more room and seems to be softer on the foot yet still have the support I need.

I love this shoe! It has excellent support and cushioning, and a roomy toe box. My plantir fasciitis causes a lot of pain and these shoes make it nearly pain-free to take walks or be on my feet all day. I couldnt do much without them. They are lightweight and fantastic.

Great and comfortable shoe. I wear everyday. Just disappointed that shoe wears out too quickly. Had first shoe 5 months and already need a new pair.

I love Brooks and used to be a big fan of Ghosts on previous models but these last few versions have been way too firm for my liking. I thought the large base would make a difference but the shoes were still not comfortable to me. I will be sticking to the Glycerins, I find them to be like walking on air the instant you put them on.

These shoes are great! But they run a little big. Normally go up a half size for running shoesnot necessary with this shoe.

I tried the Ghost 15 and they were too hard and uncomfortable. Tried these but they feel too flat and hurt my feet. There is not enough arch support, and although they seem wide, they hurt my small toe. They aren't comfortable enough to walk a long distance. I'm keeping them until the Ghost 16 comes out, which I hope will feel like the old Glycerin 19 which was the most perfect, versatile shoe ever made. I have worn Brooks shoes for 28 years and this is the first time that neither the Ghost nor Glycerin are comfortable.

Love this shoe. Very comfortable for all day wear. I feel supported as well. Only down fall is the the color options for these are not the best.. I wish women's had some of the colors that the men styles have. Seems to be better options for them?

Took a couple of weeks to break them in but they feel good now. Slim fit. Neat

Great for walking around! Too much room in the toe box for my liking. Laced them several different ways bc I wanted to love them so badly! Sadly Im going to have to go back to my other brand for running:(

I have Morton's Neuroma and these shoes are more cushioned than the Glycerin. So far I am loving them, I wear a 8.5 regular width and they fit great true to size. My only issue is the website states black but they are actually a dark gray, but since they are so comfortable I am okay with keeping them. I do prefer Books over Hoka, since every time I have worn Hoka sneakers my legs or hips hurt later on with Brooks sneakers they never do.

Very cushy! Im prone to shin splints and have not had to worry about them with this shoe. Run big. Ordered my normal shoes size instead of going up a half or whole size. Would definitely purchase again!

Great shoes. Fit well and are very comfortable on my arthritic feet. Very happy.

After hip replacement, I became an ambitious walker. I have a narrow heel and a high instep. I developed a burning sensation, all day/every day, in my feet. Long story short: Both pair of my old Ghosts needed to be replaced. I discovered the Ghost Max! Theyre great! The Max depth accommodates my old orthotics, while I bide my time waiting for podiatrist appt for new ones. It has great cushioning & cradles my foot. I only have 2 wishes to make Ghost Max perfect: 1) Longer shoe laces - I modify the lacing to make room for painful insteps; 2) the shoe lace carrier tape on the shoe tongue needs at least 1 or 2 sets of stitches more to keep the laces in place & the shoe tongue from slipping to the side of the shoes. These are my new go to shoes & I plan to buy another pair soon.

The shoe visually is attractive, I treated it with a water proof spray for easier clean-up. Shoe itself is very cushy yet supportive. I walk/run/weightlift and they are comfortable to do all in. Very pleased with purchase, especially low midsole rise.

Love the hot pink color! Thats the #1 thing that drew me in. I bought them because of the thick soles. I plan to use them for lots of walking. No problems with cushioning. Only negative is I wish they had more arch support, but I can get an insert to help with that. I just have a high arch. Great shoes!
