I have a lot of problems with my right foot. My toes ache. These are the only shoes I feel comfortable in enough to walk/run for an hour and a half every day. The toe box is roomy compared to other shoes.

Excellent running shoe. Provides great support and is extremely comfortable. No break in time required. Due to my wide foot, 4E shoe was purchasedproviding ample room and enhancing the comfort level. Love this shoe , have purchased a couple pairs.

Love these shoes! I've had a hard time finding a pair that support my feet well enough during runs. I've had zero pain since I started using these! Highly recommend for anyone with foot pain after running.

I don't run. I have nerve damage in one foot. The cushioning that the Max has makes walking much more comfortable.

I usually order wides when offered but they were out of stock so went with mediums. Fit is a little snug but still very good in both length & width.
Likes- fit, 6mm drop, plush but stable.
Dislikes- length of laces if you use all eyelets. Upper material not as soft touch as other brands.

Great feeling shoe, though the extra cushioning means soft rubber sole, wore out in 5 months of just walking 4 miles 3 times a week

I can't run anymore due to foot pain. However I bought the Ghost Max as more of an orthopedic shoe than athletic support. It's been great. The best shoe so far to help alleviate the pain.

These are my first brooks. I've delt with shin splints from stress fractures and knee pain for a long time. I've rucked 30 miles and ran 12 in these and have had zero issues. They are comfortable and stable with a nice fit that feels soft with out being restrictive.

Love my new Ghost Max!! Before the new Ghost Max my go to were my Glycerin's, love the cushion and the ride!! I also get lots of compliments when I wear them :)

I'm just ordering a 2nd pair. These shoes are awesome for walking, and LOTS of walking. I have knee and foot issues (plantar fasciitis), and had read about how great these shoes are, especially for foot issues. I can report that it's true. ALL OF IT.
I've just about worn out my first pair, and want a 2nd pair for all of the walking that I'm now doing. They're soft, but not as weird and squishy as some other brands, and the first few times I wore them: yeah, it was a bit weird. But I quickly adjusted to them, and they're my go-to shoes for everything fitness related.

I have never worn Brooks. I usually rock Hoka Bondi or Gaviotas.
I wanted to try a new Max cushion option. These have the stack, but not the drop, so it is more of a neutral ride.
I don’t run, but walk a lot and stand 8-10 hours a day on concrete for work. Those have been pretty good for that!
They have held up over the past few weeks of regular walking, etc and a long trip in NYC shopping & bopping.
Yup, my new Brooks Ghost Max kicks hung out at the MoMa, of course…just on my feet.
If you like Max cushion shoes, these are a solid choice. More of a firm/cush, which is better than sinking too far into the sole and aching your lower back.

Extremely comfortable, I use these for working out not running but I could run if I needed to. Ran 1/2 size smaller. Brooks was fantastic about exchanging them. Love the stability in them.
