I'm not a runner but a 76-year-old female with arthritic knees and psoriasis on the soles of my feet. These are the most comfortable shoe I've found. Feels like walking on marshmallows and makes my feet smile.

I made the switch from Ghost to Ghost Max and am so happy I did! I've had intermittent plantar fasciitis pain and the extra cushion is just what I needed. I will stick with these even after my PF as resolved. Highly recommend!

I've been wearing Ghost sneakers for years. I have wide, thick feet and they're the only shoes that feel like they are made for me.
However, with some heath issues causing worsening plantar fasciitis, the Ghosts don't have quite enough cushioning for standing/walking for long periods of time.
The Max shoes are just like Ghost but with enough extra cushioning that my feet are in heaven.
I got the same size as I get in Ghost, 9W. I'm normally either a 8.5W or 9W depending on shoes. This fits me perfectly and has plenty of room for my toes.
My friends had recommended Hokas to me for the cushioning; however, those were too tight even in wide and also have more external bulk than these shoes.
Highly recommend the Ghost Max for anyone who wants a comfortable, cushioned, supportive, cute shoe!

I would give this shoe more stars if I could. I suppinate/under pronate - however you want to say it and this shoe is life changing. If I walked or was on my feet for any amount time, my feet hurt, it felt like my arches were falling all of the time. It was painful. Thanks to these shoes I have no issues. I am extremely grateful for the design and comfort of this shoe. And that these shoes were created.

Heavenly cushioning. I'm now on my fourth Max (hot pink, ebony, white, and now beige) because my worn-out feet will now tolerate nothing less. I have flat arches, wide width, bunions, bunionettes, and healed torn plantar plates, I walk everywhere and I'm a physical therapist who is on her feet all day. I am not a runner but my feet go through a beating every day, so my shoes wear out quickly. I really love the cushioning Max has, and I returned all my Hokas for these. I wish Brooks would make more fun colors for wide widths though, it's always the safe colors for us.

Super shoe. I use for walking outdoors and at the gym. Very comfortable and supportive. I walk a lot and this is my second pair after wearing out my first pair!

For those who need, or enjoy a very cushioned run, especially on pavement, this is the shoe for you. Highly recommended.

I'm a 62 year old male with 4E wide feet and Brooks is the only brand for me, but in the past their selection was limited to a running shoe or a walking shoe. I've bought both, and the running shoe's upper is excellent but the sole is too thin for my liking. The walking shoe's sole is excellent, but the upper is too heavy for my liking. So, imagine my delight with the Ghost Max! Brooks combined the upper that I love with the sole that I love, and bam I now have the perfect shoe.

A great shoe...best you make! I use it for waling, not running.....I have tried lots of Brooks shoes.....this beats them all! You need more colors available in the 2E wide width

Another take on the Ghost Max: A former runner for many years (3-6 miles/day) who also embraced high-impact aerobics and often wore Brooks, I'm now in my '70s and this shoe is FANTASTIC for me today! It was suggested by a local store and it fulfills my everyday needs. I practice Tai Chi, walk on my treadmill, and go for moderate hikes - not on pavement. I have back, hip and pronation issues and when I wear them am very comfortable.
Suggestion: All the wild colors may be desirable for many, but some choices in navy-blue or deep gray with green or white/gray accents would be welcome.

This is my first Brooke shoes. I purchased this model ghost max for more cushions since I walk over 16k daily for fitness. I love this shoe and the cushion it provides. I wore this shoe in Barcelona Spain and walked over 20k steps daily without any foot fatigue. It's amazing

I love them. I have RA and my feet hurt all the time. I work standing and walking 8-9 hours a day and with these shoes my feet still feel good by the end of the day. Thanks. I highly recommend if you need cushioning.

I had been wearing Hokas for my morning walks of two-plus miles approximately five times a week. In my opinion, the Ghost Max has been more comfortable and I am very happy with them.

I have 59 year old bad feet
Always have problems due to bunions, flat feet and hate narrow snug toe boxes
Ghost max is so comfortable
Plenty of toe box room
Much more comfortable than ghost 15
I run about 5k few times week
Bought pairs for my wife and daughter as well
All love the max!

Super comfortable cushioning for a bunion that has become painful. Roomy in the toe area. I don't run, I walk a lot. These are great!
My normal size in non athletic shoes is 9.5. I had to size up a full size to 10.5 for the Max. So I would say, runs small.

The cushion is outstanding and the footbed provides the stability and protection needed. I was able to purchase my normal size (11.5) and the fit was exactly what I expected.
