Good shoe, not the holy grail to help with my heal pain. It does a good job with support and has an interesting feel when walking in them.

I like the fit. I have a narrow foot with a high arch. I have not yet put many miles on them. So, the jury is still out I have not previously run in a cushioned, built up sole running shoe. I've always run in zero drop, minimalist shoes, which I love. Due to injury, I'm trying these shoes out. So far, they seem to protect my previously injured knee, as well as my more recent Achilles injury. I do feel they're a bit heavy. I'll update as I run in then more.

They are great shoes. Fit well very springing but not overwhelmingly so. I'm a new runner and I Iove them. The only reason it's 4 stars is that I got the extra wide ones and they are still a little too narrow. I have some freakish feet I guess haha.

Overall they are really comfortable, I use mine for walking about 10 miles a day on the road. I would like more arch support and I would also like the outsole to last longer as it's already deteriorating after 21 days of use. But overall very cushioned feel underfoot, nice roomy toe box. I'm not sure I'll purchase again due to the outsole wearing out so quickly.

The Ghost Max is a great blend of cushioning and support. This is the second pair I've purchased; I liked the model so much that I bought a second pair when it went on sale!

I was a bit wary of a super cushioned shoe after a not favorable experience when a Hawaiian named shoe came out and I (Tried) to jump on the bandwagon. However, this shoe feels light, stable, supportive and not sluggish for a very comfortable and stride easy trainer. The low drop is a bonus, and this shoe compares favorably to my Caldera trail. This was a gamble that paid off, although I've never been disappointed with a Brooks product! Rated a 4 only because I tend to prefer a tight fit, and these are a bit more relaxed. (Boxers vs Briefs. IYKYK.)

Overall great feel, love the extra cushion for my 12-hour shifts. Only problem with the shoes is that there isn't enough cushion at the back of the shoe and my Achilles rubs against the hard back of the shoe. Upgrade to the ghost max 2 and love them 100%.

Nice fit and comfortable for the walking I do, not sure how the sole will wear, another good product from Brooks.

Super comfortable. Really helped make a bone spur not painful. But I didn't realize how much I liked having a little loop at the heel to help get them on.

Comfortable walking however the extra cushion makes them, unstable putting pressure on the ankle.

Thick sole is very comfortable but does not give the same feel for running surface many runners like. This issue can create a balance issue until runner adjusts to a thicker sole.

This is my 14 pair of Ghosts; including 4 pair of Auroras. The initial few runs were a struggle to get these "comfortable"every thing I did with these to start was same as all prior pairs. Wondering what I buy for my next pair

I appreciate the Ghost Max overall fit, and the support and cushioning in the heel. I was expecting more cushioning in the mid and front of the shoe. I'm 6'3", 230 pounds and wear size 15 so I need arch support.

These shoes are awesome not just because of the cool design but also because it provides me the cushion I need to up my mileage as a pretty serious runner. They are a little bit wide but still definitely recommend the Ghost Max.

I like the cushioning. Probably the best-cushioned shoe I have ever worn. I wish that Brooks would put some extra material in the toe box. I don't know what I do, but within a couple of months I always wear a hole in the left shoe above my big toe. I am right-handed. My daughter, who is left-handed, wears the same type of hole in her right shoe. Otherwise, we love our Brooks. I use this shoe as my golf shoe because with the cushioning I can walk 18 holes twice a week or more.

It is more supportive than the Glycerin20 (which I purchased and had to return), but still not as supportive as what I was looking for (like the old shoes that I have - another brand). I have to put on REAL thick socks and thick pad to be ALMOST the same as my old shoes. By that time, the shoes feel REALLY snug. But, they are very comfortable shoes otherwise. Augmenting comment "It'll be good on occasion" below, (for me) it's good enough to wear walking around malls, or short duration walk (less than an hour), but not for long walks or hikes. I do like the color though (apricot).

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)

Unfortunately the E with the knit top worked "good" enough to fit my foot, my foot still overlapped the side sole of the shoe and will prove a bit unstable. I am not a fan of these new knit tops for shoes (maybe I'm TOO OLD SCHOOL) and did not feel secure when walking on the treadmill. I've seen reviews on YT by many runners and they've had no problem. Everything else about the shoe felt good...But, I cannot spend $120-140 bucks for a shoe and not be completely happy.
I'd also recommend:

They did appear to be 'true to size', but the wider toe box that I was looking for due to my condition of foot neuropathy met my expectations only for my left foot. They do have a wide toe box, but for some reason, the big toe of my right foot crowded its neighbor just enough to feel uncomfortable. Could be that my anatomy, rather than the shoe, was more to blame.
I'd also recommend:
I might try the Orthofeet Yari

More cushiony like my beloved Adrenaline USED to be. I don't feel like they're holding up as well as my Saucony, but I'd probably buy these again to alternate with.

The Ghost max shoe is great for running to everyday wear. It has also helped support soy plantar fasciitis mends a little more quickly! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the sole started pealing after 85 miles on the shoes. They would get 5 stars if that didn't happen due to durability also!

Super comfy shoes. I can wear them for a 12 hour day to work and my feet don't hurt at all. But my big toe is starting to show through the fabric. I'll buy them again because they're awesome but a tougher fabric when the next model comes out would be great!!

Can't get rid of a popping sensation on bottom of left shoe. Ghost's 12-15 don't do this at all. Gonna exchange to see if it's a faulty pair but seriously annoying.
