These are awesome so far! I haven't put a ton of miles on them yet but so far I have noticed less joint pain and springy feel. I loved them so much I bought another pair. Hoping they hold up, I'm averaging about 12 miles a week right now.

I have plantar fasciitis but in both feet, along with other foot issues the Ghost Max is MAGIC!!! I'm able to run half marathons with minimal pain now!! Thank you ! Now.. to humbly ask for more colors in the WIDE WIDTH!!!

I bought the all black for work shoes. I work at an amusement park and am on my feet for my entire shift. I am overweight and my feet hurt so much during and after my shifts. These shoes are sooo cushioned, they have made a drastic improvement in my comfort level at work. The fit was standard to my usual shoe size.

I adore these shoes!! For the first time in years I've had no foot pain. After wearing them a week I went to order another pair but the extra wide are sold out at every place I know to look . Please make the cute colorful shoes available in wider sizes. Multiple people ask this of your company. I have read the request over and over on different platforms and now I'm adding my request. We love your shoes! Make the cute ones for our problem feet please! Great shoe!

Comfortable! Helps with foot pain and balance especially when standing. Better than the regular Ghost. I wore the regular Ghost for one day after having tried the Max and my feet started to hurt again. Also, the Ghost Max doesn't hurt the tops of my feet like the regular ghosts did. I also like the room in the toes.

I am standing and/or walking at my job the entire day. These new Ghost Max are amazing with the extra cushioning. My plantar fasciitis has not acted up and I attribute that to the extra cushioning. I always wear 7.5 in Brooks, but these feel a little bigger than normal. They are not so big as to return for smaller size though. When I first wore them, it felt like walking on a bed. These are extremely comfortable and I'll buy them over and over. Love that they come in all black with the black sole as the dirt doesn't show. I wish all Brooks shoes offered black on black.

This is a great shoe but not an alternative to the Ghost 15 they have much less stability than the Ghost 15 and are squishier they also tend to have ankle roll, after wearing them for a day my feet were tired from rolling on the soft heal. If you are a Ghost 15 person now dont think this is an upgrade.

Not a runner at all. I walk over a mile to my office and back daily . I also have diabetes and need the cushion. Which was good , but not much difference from the regular Ghost.

I am still not sure if these shoes are working out for me! I have less problems with my feet but I am feeling my knees a lot more while running in them. They work better than the Adrenaline GTS but not as well as the Glycerin GTS! I wish Brooks will make wider shoes, so people like me will have some options.

I did not like them, I sent them back. To much padding under the arch of the foot, when I stepped forward I felt like I was falling in a hole. I have been using brooks shoes since the ghost 10's came out. This is the first Brooks I really did not like at all .

I actually bought these a couple of times a while ago. They were so comfortable for my runs and long shifts at the hospital. I bought these new Ghost Max 2 and they are not the same. They feel hard. Not as cushioned as these. Please bring them back!

I love the fit and cushion. I use the ghost max for walking; walking 5 miles 7 days a week. The shoes absolutely comfortable and I wear them casually with jeans as well. I did replace the insoles with copper fit insoles for better arch support. Will buy again!!

I originally purchased the Ghost Max shoes (the blue/yellow Damon Brown special edition) to be my primary walking shoes this fall as I prepared for a week-long tour in southern Germany. After walking a couple of miles a day in them at home on regular pavement/sidewalks, I made a last-minute call to take them with me as my primary walking shoes for the trip. I walked around 5 miles every day on old, uneven cobblestone streets, bricks, stonework, etc., and never once felt unstable or off balance. Paired with merino wool socks, my feet never got cold despite the 3-10C/30-40F degree, rainy and windy weather. And though my fifty-something-year-old hips and knees may have hurt at the end of the day from all the walking/climbing, my feet never did! Perfect touring shoes! I did replace the regular shoes laces with elastic laces (with a slider for adjusting) to make them easy off/on at the airport, and those worked well for all the walking, too.

I've written like 5 reviews in my whole life lolbut I had to say something about these to help anyone else who may be similar. These are the most comfortable tennis shoes I've ever worn. As a person with EDS/POTS/hip impingement pain that's been in and out of PT for years these are the best I've tried. The lower drop doesn't put pressure on my hips and I'm experiencing a lot less pain now. It was a little weird getting used to the low drop for a couple weeks and feeling it more at my ankles, but now I won't ever go back! It's all I wear! I'm not a runner, just a person who walks a lot at my job. It makes me happy to finally find an awesome one after years of being recommended the wrong shoes (even by PTs). The toe area is also little wider than other shoes which is great for space.

For years, friends and family have been telling me about Brooks shoes. I took the plunge and bought my first pair finally! I'm kicking myself with these lightweight, incredibly comfortable and supportive shoes for not listening sooner! They're terrific.
