I have owned many previous versions of this shirt. I was disappointed that the button from was "updated" to snaps. Also the breast pockets are smaller. My phone no longer fits. To be fair I have not purchased one of these shirts in 6 or more years. Quality is still very good.

Fits snug with a shirt. I usually wear a medium and that's the size I got. Sleeves would be too long for me on a Large. Very rugged industrial look. I have the steel yard gray.

Nice but very lightweight. I was hoping for something much heavier than this. L.L. Bean used to sell a heavy shirt that looked a lot like this. This is only good for a few early fall days.

Not what I expected. Didn't quite fit correctly. Quality didn't justify the price.

The sleeve openings at the wrist were too big when the single snap was used, meaning that I was forced to roll the sleeves up, or have them hanging down completely over my hands, which doesn't work. The design should include two snaps at each sleeve opening, so the user can choose the size opening that works for them. I would have loved the shirt/jacket if that had been the case.

Boy, the quality of LL Bean products have gone down hill; but, the prices continue to rise. This shirt is made in Indonesia. It is a light weight canvas with a very thin flannel lining. I'm sure that this shirt-jac will not stand up to a full season working with me in the shop. It's a shame, I had high hopes but I feel let down. I payed more than $90 for this and it's just not worth it. I've been shopping LL Bean since they had rugby shorts, those are gone and I fear at the prices that are being charged now for goods, I will be also. Sorry.

What a disappointment! This jacket is manufactured off shore (some third world factory) and, in my opinion, is not worthy of the LLBean brand. The lining was very thin flannel, the sleeves are taffeta (what is that? All I know is that it is not flannel). I wore it once and determined it was not what I was looking for. I remember there was a time when I wouldn't pay over $100 for a dress shirt; but, I did for this which is, essentially, a work shirt. I don't think this canvas would stand up to use in the shop. It went back. All I know is that Bean's prices have increased and the quality of their products has decreased. Other than some of their boots, I haven't use for their garments. Sorry, I can't recommend this shirt to the serious working guy/gal/other.
