Great shirt jacket. A little big in the waist but I like a slim fit. Works great when I have a hoodie on underneath. Its comfortable, looks good, and will be worn for a long time

My dad bought this for me 18 years ago. Wear it to school- I teach high school and and enjoy summer camping near Lake Tahoe. My summer uniform- LL Bean shorts, River driver shirt , and this shirt, plus sandals.

This shirt jacket really is a great buy for the price, especially if you can find one at an LL Bean Outlet like I did. The construction is high quality, and the pockets are very well thought out. Incredibly comfortable right off the rack. It fits true to size (bought a large-reg, 6'3" @ 180), and actually allows for more layering than I expected. I can fit a pretty heavy weight chunky knit sweater underneath and still have plenty of room and mobility, without the jacket feeling too large when worn by itself. This will be a great three season jacket when layered appropriately that I expect to last a long while. I'm thinking I'll wax the exterior myself for some increased weather protection.

Like the jacket, good style. Biggest gripe is there's no inside pocket for my phone

This is classic looking shirt jacket and feels like it will last quite a while. Nice overall fit, not an oversized item (size large), enough for a layer giving it a nice slim appearance. Good weight to remove the chill year in round in California.

This jacket fits perfectly and provides the perfect warmth when the occasional cold front moves through Florida. The pre washing makes it comfortable right out of the box.

Fit snd finish grest. I like the wide pockets 4 stars only because I ordered a regular fit and they sent fitted. But fits ok anyway.

This jacshirt offers an additional layer of warmth on those mild winter days and fits nicely over a flannel shirt or vest. More importantly, I like the way I look in this jacshirt which boost my self confidence.

This was bought for my husband and he is very pleased with it.

My husband doesn't like the snaps at the cuffs, which have to be opened in order to remove the jacket, and he dislikes all the snaps down the front, which make it look like too "western" and take too much time to snap and unsnap. Not great, either, for someone with arthritic fingers. Too thin, also, for a fall or spring jacket in this climate. Finally, it's baggy, which isn't flattering on a slim man.

Roomy enough for a flannel shirt underneath. My husband really likes this jacket and the many pockets on the front. He says it cuts the wind that can make like so chilly. Thanks

Exactly as described. This is just the right thickness, strong, and well built. The pockets are the primary reason I purchased this. Without pockets its not a jacket.

Great fit, love the pockets. A bit lighter weight than expected

My adult son selected this item for Christmas. He is completely satisfied with it. When I read shirt jacket I thought it might be too light for the purpose but it is a substantial medium weight canvas jacket - not a shirt. The quality is outstanding. The tag reads slim fit and he is a true large, athletic build and it isnt snug. I would not describe it as slim fit. We laundered it right away and tumble dried on low until damp dry. Came out so soft and comfortable. Overall this is an excellent item.

Thoroughly happy with my new shirt/jacket. Excellent for the cool windy days where I live as I walk my dog around the neighborhood. Good pockets, especially the small extra one on the right side to keep one's cell phone. The lining is soft and comfortable. I'd own two of these items if brown or tan was available. Strongly recommend.

lower pockets need flap for security also canvas and inner layer could be upgraded insulation and durability

It has a nice fit and is ideal for working outside and around the house.

I bought this coat primarily because it was mostly cotton both inside and out. It is increasingly difficult to find cotton clothing as most people want to sell you polyester. The coat is quite comfortable and cotton soft on the inside yet the canvas exterior seems fairly resilient and the stitching is well done. The four pockets in front seemed excessive at first but I have found myself using all of them. Left and right lower for gloves top ones for hat and cellphone. LLBean makes good quality products and this is no exception. Very satisfied and would recommend to others.

Bought this jacket for my husband in navy. He could not be happier with it. I ordered a large - a little extra room in he fit, but allows for a sweatshirt or sweater. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice looking jacket, but. medium was too big, and small was too small.
