Very nice sweater, a little on the heavier side but that's fine. Looks great with jeans or chinos and the sizing was well explained. Normally I wear a large but because of the trimmer fit XL fits perfectly.

My 18 yo grandson and I were "window shopping" at our local LL Bean store. He saw this sweater and tried it on. He loved that it wasn't quite a turtleneck but would still keep his neck warm. He also loved the pattern and the weight of the fabric. It was the only one in the store. Once we left and I took him home, I hurried back to the store and bought it. In the meantime I saw that he posted the sweater on social media saying he loved it. It will be a Christmas present for him.

I have some success buying men's small tops, anticipating that the sleeves will be long. This sweater has a beautiful drape and weight and is well made. I am 5ft7in tall and 142lb and the small fits beautifully, folding the cuffs. The grey/red is subtly festive for the Holiday Season.

Worn in 38 degree weather, kept me warm! People complimented on it's style.

It is everything that I dreamed it would be and more. I love it and my wife hates it, which makes it pretty much perfect.

I've never had so many compliments on anything I've ever worn. Went to a brewerypeople asked where I got my sweater. Went to a restaurantpeople asked were I got my sweater. Went to a barpeople asked where I got my sweater. I felt like I should be getting paid a commission to sell this sweater. It was a hit, apparently. *Would buy again.

I haven't even got the sweater yet, but just looking at it I feel like a fashionista. It's so cool, it has Mallards which you don't see very often but I wish we did.

The sweater is nice and comfy. But some of the stitching in the front is unraveling, which is annoying since I've only worn it 3 times so far.

I originally bought the Large size because this is what fits in other sweater styles I have from LL Bean. It wasn't gigantic, but did fit a little more roomier than I wanted. I returned and bought a Medium, which was a better fit.

This sweater is beautiful. I'm 5'8" and I bought this in an XL to fit my shoulders comfortably. It's a perfect fit except for the fact that it almost drops to my knees if my hands aren't in my pockets to hold it up. It'd be helpful if LL Bean included the length of items in their sizing. I'm sad since I'll have to return an otherwise perfect sweater.

It's a beautiful sweater. It fits well. My only complaint is that it is a lot heavier than I had hoped for. I guess I will like it more as the weather continues to get colder.

My wife picked this sweater out for herself even though it is technically a men's sweater she had me buy her a medium and she loves it! Makes a very nice winter holiday sweater.

I wish I'd bought the original Signature fair-Isle lambswool version of this sweater back in the mid-2000's, but this is a nice alternative; albeit with less decoration. I do like the raglan sleeves, and I guess the lighter, but still substantial cotton fabric, which should afford three season wear. The roll neck is also a nice, casual touch.

I'm 5'9 155 lbs and got the regular large as suggested. Very nice sweater but yowza is it long. Abnormally long. I even double checked my order to make sure I didn't order a "tall" by mistake. Sadly, this has to be returned and is out of stock so won't be able to try it in a medium.

Cute sweater but weird fit around arms. The yarn is a different thickness where the mallard design is which causes it to be tighter around the arms and chest area and then pucker out at the green part.

Not sure why this sweater runs very small.. I usually buy XXl for the extra room but this fits like an smallish XL.
