I was weary ordering this sweater in XL-Tall because I have a bit of a belly. The sweater turns out to fit perfectly! No need to bump up to XXL-Reg. It is roomy, but not loose. The donegal flecks are obnoxious on the dark green sweater, so I sent it back. The flecks are fantastic on the dark red! Also, the pebble grey looks the same in real life as the picture. The other grey is a bit darker in real life than the photo, but is still really nice.

I bought this sweater in the spring, so now that fall has arrived, I can wear it and write this review. I can say that it fits quite well and should be comfortable when the weather turns. I plan to buy another in a different color very soon. One thing other potential buyers should be aware of is the washing instructions, which tell you to dry it flat--not to put it in the dryer. I suggest following the instructions so as not to ruin your purchase.

Bought one just like it as a Christmas present for someone and he loved everything about it. Said he would like another one in a different color. So I did just that and bought him this one. He especially likes the extra tall sweaters as he is over 6' with long arms and the regular sizes just aren't long enough.

This sweater is one of my favorites. Itvis comfortable, classic design, looks great on me and if it is anything like the last one i bought from LLBean 20 years ago, it will last. Great value. V.

Very well made and the fit is excellent, not too tight and not at all baggy.

Just right for indoors in our modern buildings. Wool would be way too hot for me inside. So, the beautiful Irish-like, cable knit I prefer, without over-heating.

This is the second of these sweaters I have purchased and I'm not even a sweater person. While it's a man's sweater, I am a woman who loves them for myself. I love buying it oversized. It is so soft and cozy, perfect for nesting on a cold winter or rainy day. Easy Peasy care too. Just wash and lay to dry. I'm sure I'll be back for another color in the fall.

This is a great sweater. Excellent fit and texture. Size Medium fits me perfectly. I'm 5'9, 165.
