Nice and warm! Wish the back waist was a bit higher for exercising but overall very comfortable.

Just ok tights. They don't fit or feel like quality leggings. Fleece lining is thin.

These tights run a little snug. They are probably supposed to fit tightly but I would have preferred a little more room. I will keep them and enjoy them; just beware if you would like them less snug, order up.

I've worn an old pair of these tights for years and years and used them for winter running, walking, hiking and cross country skiing. They are still going strong. I use them so much I wanted another pair. Unfortunately, the styling or material has changed, and the small is too small (size of original pair which still fit) and and medium is too big (too long in the leg and rise). A size 8 or medium bottom with a 28 or 29 inch inseam usually fits me.

I wear these tights all the time in cold weather and love them except the fitting could be better. As another customer posted, the legs are very slim but the "waist" is huge! I bought a similar pair from your competitor (starts with an "L"!) that fit perfect. Definitely need to work on this.

Pros: Leggings are soft and warm. Great at green bay packers game in December. Do not ride up or stretch out during wear. Cons: take a long time to dry after washing and attract pet hair. Might be to warm for some activities when temps are in 20s and 30s F.

A friend recommended these so I finally got a pair they are awesome - I just have a few adjustments I wish they'd consider. A pocket on the leg would be awesome too fit a phone and upgrade to athletic thread that you see in high quality leggings to allow some give since they are fitted. I'm looking to buy additional pairs because I don't want to take these off. They're so warm and cold temps are so much more bearable with these on. Agree with other reviews they're substantial enough to wear in public.

I have these warm pants in almost every color and wear them almost every day, late fall to early spring. They are warm, sleek, and comfortable for casual activities indoors and out. They feel tight at first but will relax quickly. Only 4 stars as they could be a bit stretchier and the side seams do snag/pill a little.

These are nicely lined and do a good job keeping the cold air and wind off of you. They're a decent length and have a small zipper pocket on the back of the waist band. It's not large enough to hold a phone but could easily hold your keys. I have these pants a 4/5 because they are a little droopy in the crotch area and occasionally that makes the pants less comfortable.

Very nice ultra warm tightsgood for that slim younger look in winter, comfortable and toasty.

These are so warm and comfortable. I wish there was a little more "give" in the waist because gaining a few pounds leaves zero room for stretch. Overall though, these are great for cold days outdoors.

My wife wore these for a run at 15 F said she was comfortable for the entire run and noticed she didn't chill post run. The fit is right on for her.

This is my second pair as I really like the fit and warmth of the first pair. The pants are warm in 20 degree weather in mountains. However, I had to return the first pair as defective as the crotch seam unraveled after wearing them two weeks. They are in transit back to LL bean for an exchange for another pair. I have expectations they will be replaced with no problem.

I have fallen in LOVE with these leggings! Cozy and warm with a perfect and flattering fit! My review reflects the assumption that I somehow have a "faulty pair". After just one wear on a 4 mile hike, I noticed piling on the left hip. I'm so bummed because I love these! But for the price, I expected a little more. Waiting for customer service to get back to me .... and I know they will! LL Bean Customer Service is always so helpful. Get the pants ... maybe I just got a bad egg.

Comfortable

I've been purchasing these fleece-lined tights for a number of years and love the feel during the winter months. However, I've noticed in the last two years, the exterior fabric is not holding up as well as with other pairs. Specifically, there is a balling of the material. I also notice the outside seams show a fraying - which makes the tights look old. (I'm very careful about turning them inside out prior to washing.) I will probably continue to purchase these since they fit well. I just wish the fabric wore better. I purchase the XS Petite and love that the waist has a drawstring for adjustment.

These have no side pockets, and run smaller than similar version 511578. However, the fabric is much better quality than the side-pocket version of these tights. Fabric on this style is beautiful and does not have a pilling problem like the pocket version.

I've tried these a few times and like them at first when I try them on and have high hopes, but then I wear them, and they bag out within an hour. Very sad.

I have several pairs of these tights from years past. Every year they seem to get less comfortable. This pair is VERY short in the rise (despite being Medium Tall), and there's very little flex around the knees. I buy these for hiking and other outdoor activities in winter, and -- call me crazy -- I kind of like having some stretch around the knees when I'm moving around uneven terrain. If they don't "give," it's very uncomfortable. Sadly they will go back.

I love these leggings. Every Winter, I order a pair of these. Was disappointed. Thinner material and fit was off. Returning the leggings.

this is after two pairs of pants that I need to return yet another pair with sizing incorrect.

I had a pair of these that I purchased several years ago. They are thick, soft, warm, great for the coldest weather. Wanted a second pair, but the new ones are not as heavy as the old ones and they are not as matte in texture. If I had not been able to compare to my earlier purchase, I probably would have kept them.

These are great for when it is cold and windy. The fit is just OK, tho.

This is my second pair of these leggings, I absolutely love the first, but they were getting a little shabby after three years of near constant wear through the cold seasons. I ordered a new pair, and mistakenly chose a large. The local LLBean store of course was lovely about an exchange. The new pair, size medium, have a very short rise, and I'm constantly pulling them up. The first pair never were like this, even brand new. If these fit you well, you will love them. They're warm and comfortable.
