I was hoping that these pants would work for my winter walks. I wear petite in all brands. However, the rise on these pants was very uncomfortable. So, I had to return the pants.

I just purchased a Medium/ Medium Tall. The waist band is 14" wider than a similar Ripstop lined pants (size Medium) from Beans that I ordered over a year ago. Medium pants are to fit a 29" waist, but the new pants are 36" at the waist and 50" at the widest part of the hips. I am returning them. They are horribly large. (These MT are 1" longer than the regular medium - which is what I wanted). But I didn't want them to be huge elsewhere.

Instructions said to wash before wearing which caused these pants to wrinkle horribly.

I love ripstop & fleece, so I bought these a few years ago. I am 5'3" and at that time, around 140 lbs. My usual size is P10 or R8, so I ordered according to the size chart posted. My weight is not in my derriere nor thighs, but whenever I bent over to pick up something, I practically mooned everyone as the back of the pants creeped down. Despite this, I tried wearing them camping by adding a tunic over them, but the overall feel was uncomfortable. Maybe the pair that I received was sized wrong or maybe a slim leg, ripstop pants with fleece lining is too much pull for a pair of low-wasted pants.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I liked the pants . They're warm and fit well except they are rather short waisted. But when I washed them in cold water and dried low, the lining shrank in one leg and that makes the outer shell pucker. For me, these were an expensive purchase and I'm disappointed.

Weird fit, oversized and one of the little snaps on the back pocket fell off when I wore them for the first time. Do not recommend!
