Very good for temps above freezing this winter. They ride a bit low for me. When sitting down I feel the need to hold up the waist.

I usually wear size S pants, however, based on other reviewers comments, I ordered XS instead. Contrary to my fears, the XS were actually wide and baggy. I was so turned off by the bagginess that I was conflicted as to whether I should keep the pants, or return them. In the end, the key factor that made me decide to keep the pants was how warm they are. Living in MN, I know what it's like to deal with cold weather. I also know the value of wearing clothes that help us brave the cold. These pants are great for warding off the cold but they don't earn much in the way of style points. I bought the olive ones. They match with many colors.

I'm normally size 16 so I ordered the XL thinking it'd fit. The pants themselves are great quality and the lining very soft to make one cozy on a cold day. The only problem is they seem to run small - I don't mean just size but short. Unfortunately I had to return them.

Do not wash well. They're wrinkle at the seams. I can't wear them except for maybe biking and gardening.

These are nice warm pants, but theu shrink in the wash, so I will stick to similar ones from another catalog

These pants are warm, fit well, and are just the right length. But they come out of the dryer all wrinkled.

I love the concept of these pants, but if you don't have thick thighs or butt, these will hang off of you. I'm slim in those areas and find that because these aren't snug enough, air gets in and doesn't keep you as warm as they could. I would go down one size.

I was told to get same size as I wear in unlined pants. Should have gotten a size larger.

Disappointed. Had to go up a size to get them to fit and they are still not right. Length is too short despite being larger. They are warm, though.

I bought two pair of these pants in the store and they are nice pants but the pair I bought online weren't as nice. The online pants don't have the stretchy drawstring like the ones in the store and the cut is different. The fabric is different, also.
I like these pants. I switched out the drawstring for elastic. I would have returned then but they only carry two colors in the store.
I'm never going to buy from the online store again. Which isn't great because they don't carry the winter sneakers in the store near me so I have to buy winter sneakers elsewhere and I haven't found a pair yet.

I assumed the snapped leg pocket would be deep enough to hold my cell phone but no such luck. None of the pockets are deep..a classic problem with women's pants. Otherwise, great looking and very comfortable. At this price I will return bcz I wanted a fleece lined pant that held my "stuff" securely.

I love these pants and would have given 5 stars EXCEPT after only one year the RIP STOP PORTION OF THE PANT TOTALLY RIPPED IN THE WASHER! Very disappointed but I hope that
LL Bean will improve the fabric because the fleece lining is so warm and comfortable.

First purchased large. Waist and butt were huge. Fabric and lining were nice, just way too big. Returned and purchased medium. Waist and butt fit much better, but calves were too tight ( i do have large calves). Calves were so tight, pant leg would not hang down. Had to return both pair.

I just got a pair in size small/ tall. They are plenty long enough for me, but they are hugeparticularly in the hips and thighs. I'll see if they have an extra small. (I'm not extra small)

I love how warm these pants keep my legs. But that's about it. The lining bunches up under the outer pant leg and the elastic waist only lasted a few washings on gentile cycle. Even with the drawstring pulled as tight as possible the pants still slip down. Disappointed in the construction qualilty. I probably should have ordered an xsmall but not sure this would have changed the problem of the bunched, baggy lining and elastic waist failure.

These pants are very warm, heavy since they have a warm lining but they slip down below my waist no matter how tight I pull and tie the draw string. I had ordered a M reg and it's was way too big but I kept it. Then I ordered two Petite Smalls and I am experiencing the same thing. It's too bad because they are nice and warm. I wear them hiking and around the house.

Great pants except the draw strings for the waist wind up, for lack of a better way to describe so after 3 washes you have no draw strings. Bummer because otherwise I would buy more. This has happened on more than 1 pair that I have.

I really wanted to love these pants. I live in a cold climate and walk/hike outdoors nearly every day. The outer fabric and lining were nice--but the fit of the pant was TERRIBLE! The pants were too short and the semi-tapered leg ensured that the wearer could NOT bend her knees with ease. (Guess what? When you are walking or hiking, you are BENDING YOUR KNEES). These pants are HEAVY--so, the sheer weight of these pants will make them fall down from the waist and make the crotch area seem too low. All in all, these pants were warm, but I felt like a was wearing a straight-jacket diaper. (Note to design team: customers interested in very functional items what a straight leg NOT a tapered leg).

I was looking forward to receiving these pants. Unfortunately, I'll have to return them: they are too baggy around the waist and hips. The lining is comfortable and appears to be warm.
For comparison, I had ordered the Vista Camp Lined pants at the same time. They fit a lot better, and I'll keep those.
