I have had this jacket for 5 years! I find that I really cannot get through winter without it.When new colors appear I try to get them. I have really looked forward to some brighter ones...so hopefully someday that will happen. I strongly recommend hang drying to avoid shrinkage..

This coat is perfect! I call it my blanket coat cause it feels like a warm blanket when I wear it. I used to have one similar but it did not have the hood & was shorter. This coat is perfect!

After seeing ads for it in my IG feed with some great looking clothes, I went for this jacket and a few other things. I am very pleased and this jacket I am wearing as I type this. Great lightweight jacket! Perfect for fall weather!

Worked well for in between fall weather with occasional drizzle. Warm but not too warm. On me is tight at the waist and below. Probably should have bought a larger size.

The jacket is very nice and soft. Great for a light Winter outdoor wear. However, I did return the item. I ordered a Medium, but the shoulders for me felt a bit too tight. I like to layer with another light weight long sleeve underneath. I have broad shoulders and a muscular shoulder frame. So sadly, I returned it. For reference 5'6" 140lb.

I finally found a fleece jacket with zippered pockets and a hood. Fit was good overall, but I will say the upper arm area was a little snugger than I expected. The color is very pretty.

True to size; not as warm as hoped, but nonetheless a good purchase for in between weather.

The sweater fleece coat would have been perfect, except that the sleeves were about 3 to 4 inches longer than the sleeves on the shorter (sweatshirt) version of this coat. I had to return the coat because the sleeves were way to long for me. I wold only recommend to a friend with long arms.

Loved the coat, returned to be exchanged for larger size 3 weeks ago but have not received replacement yet.

I love this sweater coat, I did not give it 5 stars because of a faulty zipper which I discovered after wearing it more than 4 times. The zipper is meant to be functional in that I can zip it from bottom to top and vice versa. I realized that it was "stiff" so I sprayed a little WD-40 and it seemed better. The next time I used it, I could not connect it correctly in order to zip the sweater/coat. I am now in FL where I do not need it but will take it to have replacement zipper put on when I return north.

I was thinking from the description that it was a sweater, however it is more of a Hoodie sweatshirt, that is longer and has pockets. I just got it, so I will give it 24 hrs to decide whether to return it or not. I have been ordering clothing from L L Bean since my early 20s and am usually always very pleased with the jeans, yoga pants, shirts, coats, sweaters, polar fleece, etc. but this was a surprise. Maybe the description needs tweaking?

all good except upper sleeves to tight for a 3x. had to return.

I normally wear a 6 Petite, but I wanted a little extra room to be able to layer under this coat, so I ordered a Petite Medium. It felt too tight while wearing a t-shirt and a long-sleeve shirt under it, so I returned the medium and ordered the Petite Large. It is much roomier and I can wear my layers under it without feeling squeezed. Much to my amazement, the shoulders are not too big. I'm not crazy about the way the hood lies when not in use, but I think I'll get used to it...if not, I shall return it! But it's a good weight for SC winters, so I'll probably keep it.
