The Pima cotton t-neck is just a bit dressier - the fabric is smooth and has a nice sheen. The cuffs are hemmed and the top drapes nicely. Nice selection of colors, too.

I usually buy a petite medium but this time I went for the small. Worth trying and feels good enough to keep. It is in one my favorite LL Bean colors: Raven blue.

This is a soft comfy turtleneck that is perfect to layer under a sweater or flannel shirt. The color stays strong even after many washings. It does not pill or shrink. I need a red one now!

I love turtlenecks but sometimes hesitate to order because I hate tight fitting necks and wrists. These LL Bean Supima tees have neither and are a delight to wear under a sweater. And if they wear like the Supima tees I bought years ago, I'll enjoy them for years to come. As to the shrinkage comments in some reviews, I expect a little shrinkage in 100% cotton items and wash and dry before wearing.

I've bought these turtlenecks for years and wear them all winter. This time I went up a size to Petite Medium to get a slightly longer tail to tuck in my jeans and a little more length in the sleeve, useful when working outside with gloves that don't cover my wrists completely. These are hardwearing yet soft, wash well without shrinking or fading, and worth the money.

LL Bean turtlenecks are the very best! The fabric is wonderful and washes up beautifully. I live in turtlenecks and mock turtlenecks all winter and LL Beans are the very best!
