This turtleneck has it all: soft but strong fabric, great fitneck not too tight, and the body of the shirt is not too tight or too loose, so you can layer it or not. No cling! And it's not too long. I know it will last for years because it's pima cotton.

Fit is perfect, neck not tight, washes and dries nicely, does not shrink.

I have had LL Bean cotton turtlenecks in my wardrobe for over 40 years. They are the gold standard and I hate tossing my really worn out t necks but sometimes they've gotta go. I love their colors, prefer no ribbed cuff and am very happy with the value.

The Pima cotton is soft and silky. I chose the red color which is a true deep red. The turtleneck is not too tight and the seams are comfortable. I am 5'4", 135lb , with wide shoulders and the large fits perfectly with room to spare.
