The fabric was very nice but I wish I'd gotten a large. It was more fitted than I like. I could have returned but wasn't that bad. I like things less fitted and I have large arms.

I ordered a strong attractive color that, unfortunately, didn't quite work with items I'd planned, but I like the fabric and fit so much, I'll probably exchange for white (you can always use another basic white shirt or tee), rather than return it.
I disagree with the reviewer that expects the worst when she sees "Made in Peru". Real Peruvian Pima is a finer quality than American "Supima"(which is nice, but not as nice), so when I see that a Pima cotton item was made in Peru, I anticipate that the fabric will be wonderful.
Fit wise, by size chart measurements, I'm between a 6 and an 8, but in casual clothing, I don't like anything close or slim fit. I ordered up one size to Med, and it's just right for me. It is trim enough (plus the dressier pima fabric)to still look like a dressier tee; it is not at all sloppy looking. I have a couple of machine washable cotton pique blazers - tailored, sporty, super comfy sleeves down or rolled up - that this tee will be perfect with. Both casual-enough and dressy-enough.
The only reason to take off one star is that the tee has a strong odor, which I assume will disappear after it is laundered.

It just didn't look good on me. The shirt is fine, I just can't wear short sleeves any more.

It's the perfect color for my jumper, but I washed it once, and it shrunk

I have purchased many of these through the years as they are by far my favorite in terms of quality. I have called LLBean and have made several requests for these to be made in tall sizes (which is advertised in the catalogue, but the web site only offers plus size, not tall) and it hasn't happened yet. Please make them for taller people! I have had to resort to competitor's tees for the length, but they are not the same quality! Thank you!

It runs a size small. I wish it came in a relaxed fit tall. The fabric is nice.

This cotton material is incredibly soft!! It doesn't even feel like cotton. I love the material!
Sadly, these shirts are too short for women with long torsos. I'm 5'7" with broad shoulders and a somewhat long torso. These tshirts hit right in the middle of my belly, so I'm constantly tugging them down.
I purchased two XLs and wish I could return both, but I already took the tags off one and washed it.
If you have an average-sized torso, these shirts will probably work great for you, and the material is extremely nice quality.

I've been buying this shirt for years, and boy is it noticeably shorter than previous years' shirts! The
V-neck version hasn't changed, so what's up? Also the cream color is more like a pale yellow.

I expected a little thicker of a cotton shirt. The pima cotton is pretty silky and transparent. I bought it in the Ivory/Off white and it was still a little see through. Because of the material you could see every bump and detail of your bra underneath. I had to return it for this reason.

This short sleeve crewneck shirt fits very well. I ordered white but returned it because the evenness of the color. Meaning the color was uneven as you could slightly see skin color through it. Maybe due to fabric thickness in places Had purchased white in the past and I didn't experience this problem. I do recommend the other colors.

Great quality tee, but it's too short. I didn't even put it in the dryer. I really wish they had this in a tall size.

These shirts are nice but too short. Especially if you lift your arms up.

I love the quality of the t, especially the stitching around the neck. But once I wash them, they shrink at least 1 inch. :(

I love the v-neck pima tees and thought I would give these crewnecks a try, despite the reviews saying that they are already shorter than the v-necks and that they shrink additionally in the wash. The fabric was soft and smooth, as expected and as always with LLB's pima cotton, and the colors were true with no running or bleed. But the shrinkage concerns are real. I cold-water washed and line dried them, and they still shrunk in length by about an inch. That doesn't seem like much, but that's on a first wash, and my experience with the any LLB cotton shirts is that they continue to shrink a bit for a couple of washings, even with cold water/line drying. Also, the piping around the neckline is just too snug. Two of the shirts had necklines restrictive enough that I could barely get over my head without worrying about stretching/ripping the stitching (I have an average head!). The sleeves were a good length and fit well, but the hem seams had no give, as though the thread were too tight.

This medium tee is a gorgeous, rich color, and made of quality cotton. It fit perfectly before I washed it in cold water. It shrunk in length, so it's now too short, and I'll return it. Never had trouble previously, with major shrinkage. I've always been happy with the quality of LL Bean products, so not sure what happened here. I still recommend their clothing.

I bought several of these shirts -- the fabric is beautiful and they're deliciously soft. However, they could use another 2-3 inches in length; they're just too short. The back of the shirt ends up hiding behind the waist of my high-rise jeans. Since I'm chubby, it's not a good look.

I've been busy the pima cotton tshirts for years and loved them for the quality and breathability. Now they have become super thin. The white is almost see through. Very disappointed especially for the price.

I noticed this morning that all of my short sleeve t-shirts have little holes at the waist. I'm not returning as some are a couple years old. I do love the fit and look of the tees and will likely reorder a couple anyway. It is disappointing to see that this issue has continued for several years according to the reviews. Maybe quality of fabric issue?

Runs a size big and it's way too long. Size L measures 26.5" in length. If you're very tall and have a long torso, this shirt is for you. I can't imagine it "hitting at the hip" on anyone of average, or even slightly above average, height. With current pant rises at the natural waist or higher, I'm not looking for shirts that cover my bottom.

Love the shirt, good fit and great colors, but disappointed that the label on the shirt makes the material pucker. I have three of these Tee-shirts, and this is the first one with the label problem.

I thought it would be pink salmon, not orange salmon. It is going to hang in my closet for a while. I don't know if I will every wear it. Just not my favorite color. I bought to go with a specific skirt.

Love these, but they always shrink in length no
matter how carefully I launder and dry them. Very frustrating!

I recently ordered one crew neck style t-shirt and one v-neck style t-shirt, both in size Large. The sizing on this item and also on the v-neck style is inconsistant. This crew neck style has a length of 24". The v-neck style has a length of 26." Why the difference? These lengths should be listed in the sizing details.
