Love the jacket, but I do wish it was a little warmer. I live in Alaska and walk to work. I can wear a vest under the jacket and I am fine, but on the cold single digit days, it needs layers. The coat fits well, I love the colors and how it hangs. Others had things to say about the zipper, but I haven't had any issues with it zipping or unzipping. Would buy this jacket again if it was offered in brighter colors like hot pinks and blues. It was hard to find a jacket that wasn't super dark colors, I am always looking for something that isn't black or dark blue as the winters in Alaska are dark and I wanted a jacket that would stand out a bit more.

I love this jacket- cute colors, perfect length. The snap pockets are cute, but I'm bummed that there's no zipper pocket anywhere- so that if I'm walking without my wallet, I have to be worried about it. On my other LL Bean jackets, there are usually arm zippered pockets or inside pockets with zips.

Perfect weight and warmth level. Sizing was right on for me (usually a size 16-18 and I got an XL). I love that it covers my butt!! The only things that would make it a 5-star for me would be a thin, soft cozy lining in the pockets & a detachable hood.

I was looking for a coat that was mid thigh, good for shoulder season weather, had a hood, and was less than $150. This coat fully fit what I was looking for & it's so cute! I have gotten so many compliments on it. The only thing I would change is that I wish it had full zip pockets - though the pockets are quite deep, I feel nervous that things will slip out since there is only a snap. Still, I would purchase it again.

I just started wearing this in VT this Fall, sometimes over a LLB full-zip fleece sweater. This might be warm enough until temps fall to 40. I like that it's water resistant, but haven't worn it in the rain yet to test it. I just took it on a plane trip and it was easy to stuff in the overhead compartment, tote bag, etc. It is an attractive close fit, with a shaped waist. The green is much grayer than the picture, but a nice neutral color. I would give this 5 stars if it had an inner pocket and zippered outer pockets. A winner overall!

It's thinner material and less vibrant than I expected, but I still like it. Also, the size chart measurements said I should order a large, but I ordered a medium and that was definitely the correct choice. I have plenty of room.

This is a nice, lightweight jacket. Great for spring and fall. Colors on the green jacket are a bit different in person but maybe better. More subdued. Would be nice to have an inside, zippered pocket and cinch on the hood. Those features would make this a great jacket.

I work at a ski mountain in New England and splurged on a longer fitting jacket. But, I was surprised at how light weight it is, I don't think this will accommodate for below 0 temps.

Nice mid weight coat. Love the aqua color combination. Tends to run a little smaller than some other LL coats I have so if you are going to layer over anything heavy you may want to size up.

Comfortable, light but warm. Wish there was an inside chest pocket but otherwise great.

Bought this in medium for my daughter who is usually a small/medium and it definitely was slim through the hips. Couldn't layer anything under it. Had to move up to a large. Other than that it is the perfect mid weight coat

If you are looking for a winter coat, keep looking. If you want an amazing fall coat, this is it. I bought this for my 14 yo daughter in size medium (5ft 7in; 130 lbs). It looks great, seems to be very well made, and fits as expected. Unfortunately, it is not nearly as warm as expected. We live in Michigan so we are very accustomed to cold. After a few days of wear in November, my daughter told me she needed a warmer coat - outdoor temp hadn't even dipped below 40 degrees yet. I thought she may have been being dramatic so I wore it for a few days. Absolutely not a warm coat. It will work for fall or for going from the house to the car. It will not work in the winter if you plan to be outside for more than a few moments.

Just bought this jacket last weekend, but as winter approaches and temps plummet, this jacket is providing plenty of warmth. My only disappointment was to realize there is no inside zip pocket and the exterior pockets only have snap closures. Having a more secure pocket would make this 5 stars, easily.

I went in so sure I wanted the green and pink but ended up buying the storm blue. I grew up wearing llbean coats and I love them. I have a full length one but I needed something for the fall. This is perfect. It's kept me warm while outside on recess duty at my school. I like this length because it covers my rear end. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it and I feel good wearing it. I've had to wear it in the rain and I stay warm and dry. I like that it's lightweight. I do wish LLBean coats had metal zippers instead of plastic tho. I feel like it's true to size and neither too big or small, it's just right. I bought an xl and I have room to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath it.

The colors look nicer in person than in the stock photo. I was worried it would look like Christmas but you don't get that vibe at all. It is very thin, just a nylon jacket basically, and runs big. I'm going to try ordering 2 sizes down

I was looking for a really warm coat. It's not as warm as I had hoped. I still like it, but will wear a different coat to be warm.

The colors are pretty and the fit is good but it is very light. As far as warmth index, it is maybe for the 50F weather.

This is a beautiful color combination. I wish it worked out. It is light weight so comfortable. The hood flopped onto my face and since there's no adjustment on it, it just didn't work for me.

This is a nice coat, but I returned it because I didn't care for the length. Nice colors and fit. It is lighter weight, if that suits you.

Just received this coat & wore this morning. Not warm, had it on in the car & in the restaurant. Not sure why it is called a puffer coat, about the weight of a lined windbreaker.

The zipper was not gliding and starting smoothly like my previous LLBean jackets.
Also most of your winter colors are very drab and dark. This was lighter so disappointed zipper failed me.

If you, like I, care to use lively colors, these coats are not your ideal choice. I got the green/rose/gray/red and am making up my mind about the look of it in the long run... since returning means giving away a chunk of what I paid and starting the search again. It has happened to me with LLBean in the past - DULL COLORS and the wasted RETURN FEES - a DOUBLE-DISAPPOINTMENT. I have not tried it in the real cold yet, but it seems to be ann"ok" choice (with layers) for those who usually NEED THE HOOD (LLBean tends to offer enough of them) and prefer to not carry large puffer jackets on breezy-yet-not-freezing-days. The length is also helpful on colder days. I just thought to say: The colors are not as bright as they seem in the pic.

Ordered an M runs small on the chest. Coat looks nice. But very disappointed by being charged to return this item. Such a big company charging returns. I'm afraid to order anything from llbean and then pay return if I don't like something or doesn't fit well. Can't take the risk again.
