Compared to the 10+ other Topo shoes I have purchased, these are about 1/4 size shorter and tighter in the toe box. Not enough that I could go up a size, but it affects my ability to wear my usual orthotic insoles. I was very pleased though that these are now in all black with white soles.

I would like to wear the Phantom 3 for running but I cannot do so because they are too short and hit my toe. I don't want to get another half size up because these are already very roomy everywhere else. I prefer my other Topos for running.

#sweepstakes Topos have excellent midfoot support, giving me stability with my tendinitis. The phantom fits slightly shorter than the auras but support is similar.

The shoes gave me horrible blisters after 40 miles on road. I had blisters on my heels, ball of foot and toes. I do not recommend these shoes at all.

I had high hopes for this shoe. I have never not been an 8.5 in shoes. However, the rounding of the toe box does not allow room for anyone with a big toe that extends even slightly pass the other toes. The tip of my toes hit the tip of the shoe with every step. Will be returning. Shoe sizing needs to be adjusted.

I loved the shoe from the moment I tried it on in the store. Ordered the color I wanted - Grey/Stone in a size 10 Women's. After just a few weeks of wearing I was cooking and spilled something on my shoe/floor. I didn't notice my shoe right away but cleaned the floor as I usually do. The "wet" look on the toe area did not lighten, so I used Dawn dish soap and a soft toothbrush to clean it ... It never changed and still a dark area. I'm 76 yr old and have never had a spot on my athletic shoes not clean off!!! After spending more money than ever on a shoe to walk daily in, I am beyond disappointed. It just looks horrible to me. I'm so glad I didn't get the bright blue color that the store owner was insisting I would love. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Is this typical - will any attempt to clean a Topo result in a worse spotting?!? When this happened I used a damp cloth on the other shoe and seems it left a water stain look to it. Grrrrrr

I REALLY wanted to love these - in fact, they were super comfortable right out of the box and I like the look of them as well. Even when wearing them, there wasn't any noticeable irritation or pain - until there was. I got fairly large heel edge blisters on the inner side of both feet. After testing a few things to try to resolve this, I realized it is directly in the spot where the rigid outer part of the heel meets the sole. If that outer u-shaped piece wasn't there and/or was more flexible, these would have been a winner.

I so badly wanted this shoe to work out because the colors align with what i wear on a daily basis (topos please make more sneakers that are all black/gray!! alot of us women don't like colorful shoes!) but the midfoot was incredibly tight so i had to return it. Looks like the gray option had a wide but sold out =( Specter 1 was my OG love but nervous to try 2 with the reviews stating how much they changed & also can not bring myself to wear the colors. Please work on the colors topos! Would recommend if foot is more peanut shaped.

Wide feet deserve more fun color options. I'm currently looking for other brands that suit my feet and have better choices.

I returned them

I have very sensitive size 11 women feet, the minute I put these shoes on my feet I thought I had died and gone to heaven. The upper is so comfortable. Then I tried to walk in them. Sadly the sole is just too hard, my feet need a cushioned sole and the shoe runs short. Disappointed that there doesn't seem to be any cushioned shoes in the Topo line other than the Atmos which is very tall and unstable. I don't need a stability shoe but just can't deal with a shoe that high. And I wish there was an 11.5 size option for women!

I almost cried when I put this shoe on my foot, it felt so good. Unfortunately the feeling didn't last. I bought the shoes to fit my orthotics and they were too small. I wear a size 11 and an 11.5 would have been perfect but Topo doesn't make an 11.5. The arch is pretty prominent but felt good. The sole feels very firm, a little too firm for me. I had to return due to the sizing. The return process was easy fortunately.

I bought the Phantom 3 for walking more than for running. However, the shoe is plenty wide but runs a bit short for those of us with a long middle (second) toe. I probably will not purchase this model again because of the fit. I could go up a half size, but am afraid it would feel too large. I absolutely love the Cyclone 2. I will write my review for that shoe - would LOVE more colors in that shoe - light purple?

I'm an altra gal and minim cushion, but coming back from injury. I wanted to love these but they rub both my heel and inside just below my ankle!
