To preface, I have a weird foot shape. I have a roughly size 11 foot with 3E width and a wide ball. Few, very few popular shoe brands make a shoe that can fit my foot. Topo is now one of those brands! I ordered a size 12 W (and, by golly, they sold out quick) and this is probably the best fit I've ever worn. The only thing that comes close is a similar brand (cough, A**** ) with the foot-shape design, but I'd much rather support these guys. Good stuff, Topo! Keep the wide sizes available.

Love the toe box! Plenty of room. My feet feel after running.

I bought these to replace my Specters and wow, what a great feel! The Specters were a great shoe and I thought they'd be hard to beat but these new Phantoms have done just that! Very comfortable and breathable and they have the perfect toe box. My local store only had the gray version in stock but once they get the blues ones in, I'm going to buy those as well. It's a great running shoe and everyday shoe.

Great update on the Phantom 2 shoes. The upper is improved and the wide toe box and firm foam is unchanged. I really enjoy these and will be wearing regularly on my training runs.

Still evaluating the support and comfort in the arches of my feel. At this time a little pressure one arch of right foot, going to give a little more wear time to see if these shoes are right for me.

I went to my LRS for new running shoes. I told the salesman I wanted a pair of shoes that locked down my narrow heel and midfoot but were wide in the forefoot. He said Topo and Altra were my two choices. The Phantom 3 fit my feet extremely well and had the right amount of cushion for my personal preference. It isn't highly cushioned or too firm. Just right. The only issue I have with the shoe is the tongue. There is a stiff overlay on top of the tongue. After running a few miles I feel it rubbing at the corners of the tongue. I haven't run over 5 miles in them but it may be an issue at longer distances. I don't know why the overlay covers so much of the tongue. I've looked at other shoes int he Topo lineup and in my closet and none of them have such extensive coverage. I've folded the corners over and taped them down. This seems to work walking but I haven't taken them for a run yet. I hope someone from Topo reads this review and considers reducing the overlay on the top of the tongue in the next version. My LRS only had the shoe in gray. Kind of boring. The laces were way too long so I replaced them with a shorter pair of red laces. Much sexier!

Topo's fit my feet best, extra toe room, but I dont have wide feet, and a high arch. I have several pairs of Phantom's, and a ten pair of the other models over the years. I'm surprised the other shoe companies havent copied Topo yet. I use these for walking, and trail shoes for hiking and playing golf. The nice thing, if you have a high arch is the foam does fill in the arch area, and its quite comfortable, for extend periods of time, like walking and playing golf for four hours.

Mostly walking, wear to work too at least once per week. #sweepstakes

Every day everywhere

I needed orthotics after plantar fasciitis and a hip replacement. These shoes offer a comfortable, wide toe box, accommodate my inserts and I have been able to wear them as soon as I got them.

Most comfortable overall pair of shoes I use for walking, some jogging, and even at work, so I bought a second pair. Large toe box is awesome, and the soft comfortable top feels very secure. Just enough cushion in the sole to be supportive but to too soft. Lateral stability may use a little improvement, but overall extremely happy with them.

I use them for everyday walking and also long road walking. They are fantastic shoes. I can feel the quality in each step. I would love to win the sweepstakes to buy some more.

Bought for my husband who has peripheral neuropathy and this shoe is amazing for hid foot health. It offers a wide toe box without sacrificing a nice fit through the rest of the foot. Amazing shoe!

Wry well made product and holding up well. I use insoles to help with a very high arch but perfect otherwise.

Great first Topo shoe and also the first shoe to fit my foot so well that I don't have to tie them. Comfortable, good looking, so far durable. Glad I purchased before they went away.

I love the toe box design it allows for unmatched comfort for my already wide feet . The mid foot of the shoe is like a loving hug from your grandmother. You absolutely can not.beat the price and the quality surpasees all others
