By far the best leather boots i ever had, ordered my fists pair and after the first week of use O immediately ordered two pair more.

The boot is fits well (size 13) and is quite comfortable. I have worn them with jeans and a suit, and the boots compliment each outfit well. The comfort of the boots are unparalleled, and I can wear them all day. They are surprising lightweight.

The Johnson and Murphy Boot fits me better than any other boot I've ever owned they're comfortable and fashionable! I couldn't be more pleased!

Excellent! I tried on some other JM boots, and these where the most comfortable, and in my opinion stylish. I bought the black initially, and now I'm getting the brown.

Comfortable for boots, the laces came off a few times, like the look, fit and finish, definitely recommend them, reviewer with the 1 star should go wear crocs for comfort

I love this boot it's excellent for going out to special events.

The shoes are nice. Love the style and how they fit. However, it seems that they were previously worn for a couple of times before being returned by the previous owner. I can see that the leather is wrinkled and some scratches on both sides. Quite disappointing honestly. I use to live Johnston and Murphy for the quality of their leather.

Fit was great. They look and feel beautiful. Easy on easy off thanks to the zipper.

Good boot, warm boot, wore them in Prague. Did lots of walking and feet barely hurt even though I didn't break them in a lot in the USA. I bought a size 8 and wish they had a 7. 5, the 2nd set of insoles the boot comes with is very helpful to make them fit snug. But yeah, wish they had a 7-7. 5. For the Negative: The rear sole design compacts snow/ice, it's doesn't release it and you wind up with a snow/ice heel that you need to kick lose. This would happen every hundred feet in my case. Wish it had more of the Vibram rear sole. Boot is good other than that.

I asked for a replacement pair of J&M boots for Christmas. My old pair served me perfectly for six years with almost constant use. These boots are overall better quality than my first pair. The fit is excellent and very comfortable. I love the color. My only complaint is that the top two grommets are not eyelets. When I unzip the zipper and remove the boot, the laces often slip off and require the boot to be retied. Kind of negates the purpose of having a zipper down the side. This is the only reason I didn't give a 5/5 rating. Keep up the great work!

I admit I felt hesitant to purchase these boots after several reviews mentioning issues with durability. And I wasn't sure how I would like the side zipper. I am thrilled with the styling and often get unsolicited compliments about the boots. One gripe I've had so far is that rarely can I wear them without getting a scuff on the leather. Even in the most gentle of circumstances I can guarantee I will need to run a cloth or completely polish the shoes after wearing them. Like another poster I did end up buying two pair of the same design. Thus I can rotate them out. I'm not sure if the heel will be an issue as it has seemed to be with at least a couple of folks so far. I have already seen what seems like a bit of wear on the soles after only a few months. (And these are not every day wear. Maybe 2-3 times a week) To be continued.

Shoe fits great feels good. I walk on a slow day and average of 20k steps. Shoes look great but could use just a bit more comfort on the heel. Great shoe

Really love my XC Flex Wingtips but I was walking around at work today and my left boots heel fell off, I took a look at the other one and it's about halfway worn off as well! Really unfortunate, as I love these boots.

Had these for a year now. Laces are unraveling, and I can't find exact replacements. Also, the leather is becoming too loose around the foot.

I have been a fan of Johnston & Murphy most of my life. My father is a huge fan and he passed that fandom down to me. I was given a pair of J & M boots back in 2012 and 12 years they finally gave out. You can imagine my surprise when only having the current pair for 32 days before the heel cap of the boot completely detached itself while walking. When I bought these boots I was expecting quality and durability that would hold over time; to my disappointment I did not receive that. I am so grateful to the service representative who assisted me in getting a replacement, they were amazing. I hope this new pair will last me 10 years.

These are great boots. Good ankle support and very stylish.

I purchased these boots to balance my time between office life and warehouse life. Wearing these everyday on concrete has relieved my back pain and leg fatigue
