This is the most comfortable shoe right out of the box. I usually wear a 9N and that size fit very well wearing a lightweight sock.

I have extra-wide feet with moderate bunions and a high instep that won't let my feet slip into some shoes. But . . . these fit beautifully and don't irritate my bunions at all! So, so happy to have found these shoes! They also, to my mind, look a lot cuter than most of the clunky SAS styles.
I was so pleased that I went to my local SAS store to try to find more colors in this style, but it didn't take long to determine that the denim and canvas ones they had there didn't fit nearly so well as this pair.
Bottom line? If you have feet with similar problems to mine, snap these up!

I love these shoes however I wear a slim size and have not been able to find them anywhere. I though SAS would be the only place to find them. Guess I was wrong.

I just purchased my second pair of these shoes yesterday.. I absolutely love these! It is honestly THE most amazing shoe.. So, so comfortable for all day wear, especially if you are on your feet all day!! I cannot say enough about them!

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but these are too wide. I'm genuinely shocked. I have wide feet and never seem to find shoes that are wide enough, but these were too wide. It felt like putting on a pair of super comfy slippers. For comfort, that's great. For staying on my feet without shuffling, not so great.

Love the fact that the shoe is denim. Holds my flat feet well and reduces any discomfort from wearing a flat shoe, I can run errands all day and my feet don't hurt or swell.

Great in width and wide enough but too loose in back area. Even with my inner soles added the heel gaps and slips when walking. Not sure a smaller size would work.

These are very comfortable, although not the best-looking shoe in my closet. They're kind of a hybrid between a slipper and a sneaker. I think they're overpriced for what they are, but SAS makes good stuff.
I did have to trim — very carefully — little pieces of plastic out of the heel of the shoe. Kind of weird ...

This shoe fits, and looks a bit, like a bedroom slipper. That is NOT a complaint! I love the gold leather, although I am worried about it getting soiled with wear, even though I waterproofed it. Note that at the ball of the foot, this shoe is about 1/2" wider across the sole than the other SAS shoes that I have recently ordered. I wish that the fit was completely consistent, especially within the same brand!

I'm not giving up on this shoe. Today's order will be the third try to get the size right. The shoe is huge--far longer than the brands I have been wearing. The shoe itself is great--high quality material, beautifully made and very comfortable. I have never worn SAS shoes before so I'm not familiar with their sizing. Bless you, Zappos, for putting up with all this back and forth with my orders. This shoe is exactly what I am looking for I hope this third order will be the charm!

Ordered a 10M for my slightly wide foot and this fit very well. A little heel slippage with thin socks, but normal weight socks/bare foot it was fine. The vamp and adjustable "knob" don't dig on my instep, the leather is quite soft and covered (and didn't irritate) my big toe bone spurs (sorry...TMI! But good for those with spurs/bunions to know!) Soles are a bit slippery, but will rough them up in no time. The insole is slightly padded - not talking cushioning like Sketchers, but not bad - and it's removable if you want to use your own - especially if you need more arch support (this has none). Overall very comfortable which is most important to me. Looks-wise, not the most stylish but fine for pants and with black tights.

This shoe runs HUGE.....I'm typically an 8 or occasionally 7 1/2W with some brands. This shoe is comparable to a size 9 or 10, it's that large. I double checked the actual shoes to make sure they were actually a 7 1/2W which they are. Definitely returning.

I purchased the Funk in thesantolina color T a great sale price. I've had rheumatoid arthritis for 50 years affecting my toes. After many surgeries, I've come to love SAS shoes.
I wasn't sure of size, I can wear either 8 or 8 -/2 narrow.
The shoes have are roomy in the toe which is what I needed. They have the adjustable cord which seems to tighten not only across the toes but around the to of foot. Love this feature as it helps if you where socks or don't.
I believe the size 8 would have been a better fit for me. However I'm testing different no show socks to help.
The shoes are comfortable for my arthritic feet
The santons color is different than I expected. Almost looks gray or bronze.
I would recommend the shoes if you're looking for comfort and support.

These are so comfortable for my mom, I have bought these twice for her but why only available in the blue stripe for bigger sizes? The blue striped is the only option for 12W everytime I have looked these up. That's the only reason for 4 stars, no options but 1 but very comfy!

Very soft and comfortable shoe, but not enough support to be a walking shoe. It is as comfortable as my slippers and great around the house. The santolina color can be worn with almost everything.

I usually wear a 9.5 WW. I ordered these because other reviews said they ran wide.... they did, and that was exactly what I wanted. I wear a WW and this shoe was a D (which they call DD). Unfortunately, they are too long as well. The comfort was amazing and they are made in the USA. Am sending them back for a 9 DD. So , if you are looking for American made comfort, order a half size to a full size down and a width narrower.

The shoe is comfortable, a bit roomier than usual. I would have given it a 5but the sole tends to slide too much when walking on a rug.
