I bought this pair of shoes in two sizes. My normal size is 8.5 M, but they seemed a little long and my foot slid down into the toe bed. So I ordered a size 8 which felt more that a half size smaller. The style is classy, the leather soft. The shoes would make a good addition to my closet if they fit.

The back of the right shoe rubs my skin. It peeled my skin during the first day I wore them. I have to stick a band aid to prevent my skin peeling more and prevent pain.

I actually liked the style of this shoe. The heel size was what I was looking for and it was a leather shoe. Only I had to return the shoe because it was too tight in the toe area on both shoes. I usually wear a size 7 medium shoe and was what I ordered. Also if it was leather on the inside, I may have kept it because it would have stretched out. The problem was on the inside of the shoe it was not leather so it would not have stretched.

The shoe is lovely and true to size. However, it has top stitching in the middle that presses and rubs uncomfortably on my second toe. I can't afford to create another blister.

I normally wear a 10W, this was so tight in the toe box. Not sure if I should order a 1/2 size larger or order a double wide, or both. The style was fine and was made very nicely with very soft leather.

I've ordered Trotters in this exact size before and they fit perfect - no need to even break them in. However, these were way too narrow. My pinkie toes were screaming to be out of these shoes. The style is pretty basic. They would match just about any outfit. The soles were pretty grippy, you'd be sure-footed on most sleek surfaces.

I really liked the look of this shoe. I ordered 10 1/2 S. My foot slid forward, leaving a gap in the back. I returned it and ordered 10 S. I could hardly get my foot in this size. I was very disappointed.

In the black microfiber, this is a very dressy, attractive low-heeled shoe. I normally take an 11W, but know some Trotters run a little narrow so ordered it in 11WW, and it fits perfectly through the forefoot, but the heel is loose and flops a bit on my foot when I walk. The heel cup and sides are very tall, and I fear will cause blisters, so I will likely return these.

Much more narrow than expected. I always wear a narrow shoe and this one I could barely get my foot in! A good looking shoe though.

The shoes look nice and feel comfortable but the heel slips when I walk. I usually wear a 10.5 Narrow but the heels are never narrow enough for my foot. I'll have to return these unfortunately.

Holy cow these were narrow! I looked online and it appears this brand might just run narrow. Felt short in size also. They might be comfortable if I had them in a size that fit me, but I could not tell since I did not have the proper size for this brand.

I usually need a wide width, and ordered that for these shoes. However, my toes felt very squeezed so they will be going back. The search continues!

I was hopeful, based on another review, that these would not irritate the bunion on my right foot. Alas, that was not the case. They are beautiful, well made shoes--just not for me.

I have never worn narrow shoes but apparently I need to in these. They are way too wide for my feet. And for such low heels I expected them to be much more comfortable. They have caused me discomfort on my heels. They are cute, though.

Like the shoe but it does not run true to size in my experience and it's much smaller, length and width. Unfortunately will be returning this one.

Very comfortable, but after a year, the shoe developed a large hole in the side of the fabric by the outer edge. I'm a teacher so didn't do anything crazy in them (although I did wear them about 3 days per week, 10 hour days). If they were less expensive, would purchase again, but not sure I want to pay this much for this shoe again to replace them.

Giving this a low rating in style because I'm quite disappointed in heel height. The size 11 I ordered is no where near the advertised 1-1/4" heel height. The heel is 2-1/2". Product description says measurements may vary, but double the height is a bit much. Otherwise, a nice looking shoe.

This is comfortable, low-heeled shoe that's practical for long days. I tend to agree with other reviewers that it's narrow in the toes and wider in the heel, and the leather stretches a bit, too, so it's not the perfect fit. But with an insert, it's working okay for me. I usually wear a narrow, and I got these in a slim, but the heel is still slightly too wide. My experience is that different Trotters styles fit differently.

Comfortable but not stylish. Color is tan, not taupe, and hard to find hose to match.

The style is even frumpier than I expected. The black leather is matte just seems cheap. I was not looking for shiny patent but had hoped that they would be a little glossier.

Cute shoe, but had to return the size 13 which had the feel and the ruler measurement that was a size 12.

I own at least 6 pairs of Trotters and depended on them in my previous job where I often was on my feet for 8-10 hours at a time, yet needed to look professional. These shoes do not meet the standard of all the other pairs of Trotters I own. I am a plain old medium width, but these feel much too narrow. On top of that, both shoes rub on the heels. I bought pairs in both brown and black, and they both have the same problems.

This is a beautiful shoe that goes equally well with skirts or slacks if you’re dressing for business. Unfortunately, I realized the first time I wore mine outside that this is a very narrow medium-width shoe. I checked inside the shoe to see if I received the wrong width, but they’re marked medium. After a few wearings, they haven’t loosened at all -- they just keep squishing my toes.

Basic Shoe - I need a pump with a one inch heel that is roomy enough to accommodate my toes which sometimes hit the top of the shoe. This shoe has no seams across the top and is made of very soft leather. I wish it had some sort of bow or buckle at the top of the vamp to give it a little more style.
