This shoe was very difficult for me to get on, even a half size up, so the style just didn't work for me. Unfortunately, they also arrived with one of the heel loops unattached so I just returned them. At least the Zappos return procedure is easy- thank you, Zappos.

These waterproof boots are beautiful and I love the way they look. What I DIDN'T like was having to return the first pair I bought and go up a full size (from 7 1/2 W to 8 1/2 W) 7 1/2 wide is my usual size but I felt like Cinderella's stepsister when the first pair arrived; I couldn't even get my foot into it; it was so tight and small. But the 8 1/2 Ws look great and feel good. I haven't worn them out yet, fingers crossed that they are indeed waterproof when the first snow arrives in NYC!

Really nice boots. I am normally an 8 Wide, but bought 8.5 Wide, and these are actually short, so I am returning to buy a 9 Wide! Otherwise, really comfortable, and wide enough for my wide feet. I didn't try them out for waterproofing yet though, bc I'm returning them. Top is a little high on the ankle, and outside might rub, but hopefully not too much before it stretches. Not a fan of the obvious tread on the sole, stylistically, but otherwise like the look a lot.

This shoe was so cute. I ordered my standard size. Could not begin to get my foot in the shoe. I would have ordered a larger size but larger was sold out.

I have two pair of Clark boots size 7.5 that fit great. Ordered these in 7.5 and they are way too small.

I tried hard to get this boot too fit. I needed something for Northern Europe in winter, so I was looking for something waterproof I could wear with wool socks. I normally wear a size 6. The 6 1/2 was too short even with very thin socks - my toe came all the way to the end. I ordered a 7 1/2. It was still too narrow in the toe box with thin socks, but the heel was far too loose. If there had been a little more arch support, maybe they wouldn't have slipped around so much. In all, I tried a 6 1/2, 7 and 7 1/2 and none fit. The bottom line is the 7 would probably have fit if there had been a little more room in the toe box. I've never worn a wide shoe, but these boots are just too narrow.

I loved these! HOWEVER, the right shoe squeaked so I had to return them. So disappointed!

Fit was ok. However the tab at the heel (used to pull on the shoe) fell off during the first try-on.

I normally wear an 8 wide, and I had to size up to a 9 wide to get these on comfortably. Insane. Clarks "wide" is more "regular" width.

I usually wear a 9N and I ordered these in a 9.5N because I had the impression that my feet were longer; I had to buy walking shoes in a size 10, but they were Italian made. Anyway, the 9.5s were too big. I'm not ordering them in a smaller size because the zipper hits a prominent navicular bone on the inside of my ankle and I decided a sleeker style is more what I need. Am going to try to find a low boot with a stretchy insert instead.

Well, I had high hopes. They checked several boxes for me, but the dealbreakers were their odd sizing and the inside flap of the zipper. The length to width ratio is off. Even the wide size option was extremely narrow. I tried my regular size and a half size larger. My regular size was so snug it was an effort to get my feet into, and then the shoes cut off circulation and my feet started to go numb after about 30 mins. So I ordered a larger size and those felt better, but were too long and too roomy all around, even with thick socks on. Also, there is a piece of fabric that covers the inside of the one functional zipper (on the inner side) that acts like a web. When the shoe is zipped, that fabric bunches up and rubbed against my feet, which would have become very irritating and might have lead to blisters. On one shoe, it also got caught in the zipper on the way down and up and was very high maintenance to get it out of the way in order to unzip or zip the shoe closed. The other shoes were fine, but just a heads-up that is a design flaw you may run into and need to have exchanged. I thought they looked stylish on and they seem durable.

Cute boot but the inside functional zipper had a bulky bit of padding at the base that pressed into my arm. Uncomfortable. Felt half size too small.

Loved this waterproof boot perfect for an upcoming trip. I ordered my usual size in Clarks and it was way to narrow. Guess that's why all of the wide was sold out. I've worn Clarks for years and never had this problem before.

I have several pairs of Clarks' shoes - all in the same size. Ordered the same size for these Clarks boots - and they definitely run small.

The length was true to size but it felt snug inside. The ankle was stiff and the zippers rubbed my ankle.

I should have listened to the other reviews! The zipper on the side is only a half zipper, so opening isn't sufficient to get a foot in the shoe. I did manage and the fit itself was ok once in, but way too much effort. I didn't think these were very attractive in person.

Very stiff and difficult to put on. Not comfortable.

Tried to love these - very close, but the piece of fabric at the base of the zipper on the inside rubs against my foot. Can’t think of anything else while wearing them.

I was not even able to get my foot into my regular size. Too small.

There is only a zipper on one side, which made it hard to get the shoe on. narrower than anticipated.

They’re cute but the quality of the inner zipper was doubtful

I have a narrow foot and the medium width is way too snug. I will exchange for the wide to see if that is a better fit.
