I bought a 8.5N in dark brown and 9 in the lighter brown because I wasn't sure which would fit. Both colors were nice but I kept the lighter size 9 that fit. They are very comfortable to wear all day. But they are easy to scuff up if you are not careful. They are not the nicest looking shoes, but they were a good price. I am happy with my purchase.

Very nice, however more narrow than other Clarks I own. I opted to return for the wide option.

I tried sizing up a bit, but the forefoot was too narrow to accommodate my bunion. An ongoing frustration for me, since my heels are narrow. Had to return these shoes.

I really loves the look of these shoes and the padding seemed decent. The only thing I couldn't get past was the tightness of the width. I ended up returning them in case they never stretched out enough to be comfortable. Very cute style though.

I absolutely love these shoes; however, I have somewhat of a high instep and I could not zip them up. It's regrets that I have to return them.

I'm usually a 8.5-9, ordered a size 9 and it was definitely too small. I'd recommend going at least half size up on these shoes. It was both too tight and too short.

Returned this, as the 9.5 M felt too narrow and a little too tight on the front of my foot/too short. I'm usually a 9-9.5M.

Cute shoes. Clarks made size 10 shoes that are clearly not a size 10. I like that the width is great, being a N width. Most companies do not provide narrow sizes. It’s such a shame that the 10 is not a 10, and I have to return them.

Very cute shoes. I want navy blue to blend with my jeans. I don’t want them to clash with whatever I wear with my jeans. However, these are very short size 10 shoes. The width is great, because I wanted narrow shoes, and these come in a narrow size. What a shame that Clarks shortens the size 10, so they are unwearable and have to be returned.

Great looking shoe and looks very well made, but I had to return it because the D width I ordered is way too narrow. Sad to return them.

The reason I am returning them is that the zipper is hard to work. The right one is difficult to make it go up and down.

I REALLY wanted these shoes. I like the styling. I have a wide foot and the width felt good. However, the depth from top to bottom was much too shallow! The top pressed down on the front part of my foot so much that it still hurt after I took the shoe off.

I really wanted to like these shoes. I have a similar pair in black that's wearing out. But they were just so uncomfortable, I never wanted to wear them. It's a shame, because Clark's makes excellent, comfortable shoes. I don't know why this didn't work out.

Unfortunately, these are way too tight. I love the design and the lovely navy color of these Clark’s Carleigh Ray shoes. I want them to be made correctly so I can keep them and wear them. Can’t believe they are made so small. Clark’s probably thought they would save money cutting them down. But no one can wear them now.

This style of shoe is made short. I had to order a half size larger.

I like the shoe, but I always wear Clarks 8.5 medium and I could not even get my foot into it! Much smaller than any of my other Clark shoes/boots. I put "Felt half size smaller" because I can't really tell if it's a half size smaller or a FULL size smaller. Shall return for a 1/2 size bigger and find out!

I got the same shoes in brown, and they fit fine; however, the black felt narrower than the brown. They are very cute and I love the stye. I wish they'd fit the same way as the brown.

While this shoe fits, the inside fabric does not allow easy access when I'm wearing socks (as opposed to a slicker, thinner sock). I thought I'd like the contrast fabric across the top of the shoe, but for me, I didn't care for how it looked once on.
