I have the dark brown color in 8.5, and they are comfortable right out of the box. I generally do not wear socks, but there'd be room for that. The lacing and zipper combo make these fairly adjustable. The entire boot from sole to laces, to grommets, sock edging, suede and stitching is uniform in color. FYI - the picture looks less uniform because of the lighting and contrasts. I do like the uniformity as it balances out the edgy design, meaning you can get away with wearing these anywhere anytime - if that makes any sense - and can wear these with any combination of colors and there would be no clash. I like that these boots are no-brainers, I can without pause reach for these instead of contemplating if they are going to be appropriate or not or match what I'm wearing. The slight platform is perfect for fall, winter and the ensuing mud puddles. For suede it's good to have a little buffer brush. I prefer suede because of its soft look and feel and these boots with the sock siding hit all the marks with coziness.

Way to big I sized up

Great looking boot. Seem to run a little large but I wanted to add some cushioned insoles, so it worked out perfectly. Calf circumference accommodates my "sturdy" calves comfortably. Platform is high enough to look very current without crossing into ankle twisting territory. All in all, a fabulous looking boot at a great price.

Favorite boot! Cool, funky, stylish, cushy, perfect look (so many compliments), perfect width. I love the platform! However, perhaps a slightly different material or construction- it makes the boot very heavy. Also, for being a lot of fabric around the ankle, there isn’t much mobility in the ankle. So, don’t sit on the floor and be prepared for 2x the weight of Docs. But, way more stylish, refined and comfortable!

Perfect fit. Very comfortable. If you have to remove your shoes quickly the side zipper is very handy.

I love everything about these. The suede is lush and fine, the colour beautifully rich, the thick soles cushy, the styling just my vibe, comfortable walking all day.

Bought these for my teen daughter — she loves them — so stylish and comfortable!!

My daughter loves her new boots. They were a little tight in the heel, but loosened up being leather. She wears them all the time and loves how they look with all her outfits.
