My daughter said they felt stiff and tight across the ball of her foot.

Cute boots. Felt comfortable enough. Just wished the shaft was a couple laces higher. Style preference

COMFORT: Oddly tight — but only across the instep. Perhaps they are shallow there? The toe box was fine, and the length in my usual size 9 was TTS. APPEARANCE: Definitely like the chunky sole, taller shaft height, tonal eyelets. Dislike the ribbed textile insert on the ankle, slightly tapered, elongated toe, sort of thin-seeming quality of the leather. They look like they should be light in weight but they don't seem appreciably lighter than the boots I am keeping instead of these, which are on the heavy side (Thursday Boot Company, Dynasty model). For reference, I have a medium width, low arch foot that's wider at the toe and narrow at the heel. I generally favor shoes cut with a roomy toe box but wide width shoes are usually too loose on the rest of my foot.

Cute brown boot and what I am looking for but sadly, sending back. Typically Sam Edelman fits me but not this time. Felt narrow all the way around and up the leg.

The shoe was over after wearing it twice...

The shoes I received are not the same one as the ones pictured and have no elastic on the side. They have been tried on previously and were repackaged and sent to me without even being zipped up or laced up. Disappointing!
