Works great, no water in my shoes during the rain., However, the shoes rubbed the back of my foot causing bleeding.

It is the first time I have bought this shoe, I loved the quality, the fingers are comfortable, they are quite wide, the grip is very good for hiking, but I had to return them because they have a very thick padding on the edges and it hurt when walking. I'm very sorry because I loved the quality.

I've been wearing North Face Hedgehogs and other NF shoes for more that 10 years and love them. I was so looking forward to getting these. When I put them on, I noticed right away that my toes were squished in both shoes. I found that strange since my other NF shoes in the same size fit fine. When I compared the HH 3's to the other two pairs of NF shoes that I have,I noticed that the HH 3's are a good half inch shorter than my other NF shoes (all women's size 11). I'm SO disappointed. I really thought these would be keepers. Guess I'm going to have to keep searching. :(

Worked great until they stopped working. Waterproofing only lasted about 6 months. Now these are utterly useless in wet weather.

Wore for a week at work only. Made my toes on my right foot become numb. Had to switch back to my previous shoes.

They didn't fit right. But it was super easy to return them for a refund.

Comfy shoes, but not waterproof in the slightest. Walking through wet brush was like walking in sneakers. These hikers were better when they were GoreTex. Don't buy the DryVent version!

These newer versions have no vibram rubber grip so I slip all over rocks and any wet surface! Please bring back the older version and make it lighter :)

They were too small. I am always a 8.5 ladies. My toe hit the shoe and that was with thin socks on.

I have worn two pairs of the old HedgeHog. I never had to break them in and they were pliable yet sturdy enough to hike in. This pair felt like I was wearing my grandmother's orthopedic shoes.

This is the 5 pair of hedgehogs I have bought, and always the same size. This pair feels way too small - very unhappy - a complete waste of money as can't find them instore to try without buying online. Why has TNF changed the sizing? It feels skinnier too - but maybe my feet are getting wider - but not a whole size longer - especially when I put the old pairs on for comparison. FYI - I have always had skinny feet.
Disappointed,

These do not compare to the older NOrth Face Hedgehogs. They are cheap feeling, plastic-like, stiff material. If there's any nubuck or leather it's nominal. The laces, the pulls, the placement of the pulls all seem to be cost saving changes. ANd not worth it. There is now a seam at the top of the instep near where the toes start, and that's annoying. I LOVED hedgehogs and replaced well worn ones because they were so perfect. Now I will find a new brand. Merrel Moab seems to be like the old hedghog. Avail in waterproof and not.
I'd also recommend:
Merrel
