This is my fourth pair of NorthFace hiking boots. The first ones (name unknown) were extremely comfortable, and I even played basketball in them a couple times. My second pair were Hedghogs and also very comfortable. I could wear them standing on concrete all day or extended hiking and my feet felt fine. Third pair are Vectiv that I bought for casual wear. The rocker type sole with good cushioning helped me with long periods of standing with a metatarsalgia condition in one foot. This current hedgehog pair is OK but doesn't have the same cushioned feel as my other 3 pairs. I noticed my previous Hedgehogs have a Vibram sole and the new ones do not have that designated on them. I've worn them a few days to break them in, but after wearing them all day yesterday my feet felt a little "tired" when I got up this morning. Not discomfort, but there was some lingering feeling of having walked on a harder sole. I've got a size 12 in all 4 pairs, but the Vectiv and second pair of Hedghogs seem to be a tad shorter in sizing and I ended up exchanging the last Hedgehogs for a 12.5 so I can wear thicker socks with them.

They're comfortable but could be a little slippery on the snow, also makes your feet sweat allot (from someone who does not even sweat like that)

North Face was my 1st online shoe purchase. I was hesitant at first but was calmed when the sizing chart shoed the exact brand that I wore on a regular basis.
After receiving the boots they were a perfect fit. Even more so my custome made orthopedics fit in the shoe perfectly.
Very comfortable and durable. This is m6 2nd pair and the only "non" complaint is that they discontinued the original style ordered the previous year.
The new style is great and same perfect fit.
This review has only 4 stars as I have only had this pair 3 weeks.
I truely expect quality and enjoyment to continue.
I will order from North Face in the future.

Sixth pair North face last 5 years. Quality boot as always, I wear 3 pair alternating daily to work. For years I never took care of my feet, North face does it for me!

I got this boot on sale for around $100. At this price, it's a solid buy as most decent hiking shoes are at least that price.

This best fitting boot for the wider foot. The foot bed has a subtle lift, which adds for traction variation in degree pitches.

I bought these for my son who has flat feet and needs the ankle support. By far the best shoe I have found to address these issues.

I wear a size 11 running shoe and so I ordered these the same size, but found them a bit on the small side in size and width. Will return and get Size 12 and see how it goes. Durable but light weight.
