There’s barely any arch support, but the soles come out easy, I put in my preferred soles, and they’re great now.

I absolutely love these boots. I am active, and often on my feet so my feet are on the wide side for a woman. Once I found these in the right size - that is a mens size that would usually translate to 1/2 size bigger than normal. (ie 1 size over what i usually wear in a woman's) the boots with the wider D width and length are perfect. They are light but good support. Very comfortable!!

I love these boots. Between Lyme and all the work I do on my feet, they are generally wider at the ball of my foot, so it can be difficult to get a good fit. (Womens shoes especially often are designed as if we have pointy, narrow feet! ) In the Hedgehogs, as long as I got a mens regular (D width) AND a 1/2 size larger than I otherwise would in other mens shoes, they fit fantastically. Nice support, comfortable, yet stylish and light.
