Bought 2 pairs of the mens North face vals ll mid leather waterproof boots and I loved them! Unfortunately they quit making them so I rolled the dice with these and they were a very good replacement. The Vals were very light and these were a tad heavier but not enough to notice. Great boot and I don't even hike in them

I work in a warehouse with concrete floors, walking around constantly for 8 hours a day. Sometimes I'm outside in wet weather, I have tested several types of boots and sneakers. I have found these lightweight boots have great support on concrete floors for my back and feet. I didn't have to break them in either, they felt great the first day at work, I have worn them outside working the woods on rough terrain and they have the same type of support, traction and comfort.

I bought these boots as a gift for my husband, who commutes to NYC for work. I didn't want to give him tall boots since they can be uncomfortable for all-day wear. He loves these, saying they're similar to sneakers and incredibly comfortable for his commute.
