These truly do run larger than I predicted, so had to exchange for a 1 1/2 size smaller than my normal athletic shoe size. But Bean took care of me in a timely manner and I am happy with these classic boots. Easy to slip into without any difficulty or grunting, and the green color is very nice and vintage feeling, like a pair of boots that James Herriot might have worn while striding to farms across the damp Yorkshire Dales . I walk my dogs a mile out in the river bottom grassland each morning and my feet remain dry against the morning dew and puddles. I no longer need to change out my socks each day. Thank you Bean, for remaining the quality store I remember from my youth.

These are great! Super easy to slip on, really comfy and super cute. I wear a 6.5/7 and bought a 6 and they fit perfectly.

Great shoe for those muddy spring days. Can use them on snow shoes too.

Very nice boots, especially like the loops to help pull them on over heavy socks, and the stretchy ankle is easier than a zipper. Ordering one size smaller than my regular size was good advice.

Comfortable, cute, and good boots. Easy to slip on, an advantage over the taller lace-ups. I sized down to an 8 (normally an 8.5) and there is plenty of room.

i waited for over two months for these boots due to backorder. I ordered a half size down but they are still way too big for me. They are a beautiful blue that I think is no longer available. I'm really bummed.

When I'm in a hurry and don't want to deal with the laces in my other Bean Boots, these are the perfect solutionslip my feet in and go! I love the pebbled leather on these and the sage green/black/gum coloring is just lovely. Very happy with this addition to my growing collection of Bean Boots.

I was so grateful to receive after the ice storm hit our area and was completely crippled by ice! I had nothing to ease my sense of safety navigating the ice and LLBean saved me after numerous falls!

Purchased these "slip on boots" to replace a similar pair of Bean boots that I purchased over 20 years ago. Love that they are easy to slip into and comfortable to wear! They do run a bit large, I had to return my original purchase for a 1/2 size smaller. Still plenty of room for warm, thick socks.

I wanted a comfy boot that I could wear in the rain and a little bit of snow - bonus points if it was somewhat cute. Other popular brands were too tough to break in. These bean boots fit the bill! Comfy out of the box, slim profile that I feel can be styled cute with jeans or leggings, and waterproof! Definitely size down. I usually wear a 6.5 and bought the 6. A little roomy but perfect for some thick socks.

I had an older pair of slip on duck boots for years. The seam recently gave out so I purchased this new pair. Love them just as much as the old pair.

Excellent boots. Definitely get a size smaller as recommended. Boots are warm and comfortable and keep your feet nice and dry.

Love the look of these. So easy to slip on even with a high instep. I usually wear a 7 or 7 1/2 and the 6 fits perfectly. My feet are on the wider size, and these were plenty wide in a regular.

I absolutely love the Chelsea Bean boot. They are comfortable. They keep my feet warm and dry. I love that they are easy to pull on/off. I will be wearing them all winter. I ordered a full size down and had to return for a smaller size. It was worth it!

Love this boot.. it's super comfy when I wear it with camping socks.. I'm a size 8 and bought a size 7.5 instead of 7 and it fits perfect .
