Absolutely love 'em - I have been running in NB 1080's for years - this V13 is the best yet - and very light.

The fit was good. The only problem I have found so far is that the shoe makes my feet feel quite warm.

I have this same shoe in a different color, but for some reason the fit on this color is more narrow in the toe box than the other pair that I have. I'm bummed because I really wanted a comfortable gray shoe since they no longer make the Fresh Foam More and I need a 4E with good support.

A little too much cushion in the middle which creates a situation where it's forcing me to walk on the outside edge of my feet. Other then that, it is a soft shoe that holds up over 12 hours on my 350 lb. frame on concrete floors.

I was looking for a shoe that is built using the SL2 last. This shape has a wide toe box. The old New Balance 840 had this shape and it fit perfectly. The Zappos site lists the 1080 as using an SL2 last, but it is narrow and tight (for me) in the toe box. They look like nice shoes, but I am returning them because they don't fit.
I'd also recommend:

These shoes were pretty comfortable, however the sole began to wear away after only 3 months. Also, after about a week the glue failed that connects the front mesh to the sole.

Very comfortable. But they are not yellow. They are a puke brown color. They are also so cushy I find them somewhat unstable for walking.

Reviewed at L.L. Bean
Having previously used various NB shoes, and as a somewhat "serious" runner (ie. consistently log 30-40 miles a week), I had high hopes for the 1080 V13, as on paper it seemed like a great shoe for long-slow-distance or recovery runs -- Neutral shoe, 38mm stack heigh with a maximum amount of NB Fresh Foam cushioning, and a moderate 6mm heel/toe drop. With 30 miles on these, I have to say that paper details don't translate to my intended use, or really a place in my shoe rotation. To summarize my negative assessment, the amount of Fresh Foam in these things translates to neither marshmallow-soft recovery shoes (a la Asics Superblast), nor soft-yet-responsive daily trainers (a la Asics Novablast or Saucony Triumph). The best way I can explain the run feel of these is moderate cushion then dead feel / feedback, which in my book doesn't make for pleasurable recovery runs or otherwise. After 5 miles they just start translating to a stuck-in-the-mud responsiveness with mediocre cushioning, and plodding through the next 5 miles just isn't enjoyable. There are no clouds, and no pop -- Just two foot duds. This is both surprising and disappointing given my past experience with NB shoes, but maybe the other brands that I've been rotating through just have honed in their shoes for a specific type and application of running -- The 1080 V13 seemingly has none. To be fair, the one thing that is certain about these shoes is their quality construction, with the upper being absolutely bomber and near lock-down perfect, and both the midsole and tread show no signs of wear after 50 miles. BUT, that said, basically the only thing you get with these shoes a is really expensive quality pair of casual sneakers that are good for wearing/walking around daily, but by no means good for serious running. At $165, I can't stomach that reality. That's my experience in a nutshell -- They might work for you, but they certainly don't work for me. Very disappointing.

Disappointed in the sizing. The 2EE width in the last two New Balance shoes I ordered have been to tight. I measured the width across the new shoes and my last three pairs of the same model and the new shoes were 3/8 to 1/2 in. narrower .

As far as width and length, these were fine and would do the job. Unfortunately, the instep over the top of the foot is entirely too small. If I took about a dozen rubber bands and wrapped them around the middle of my foot, the tops of my feet would hurt just like when I tried on these shoes.

The online description said they were a 10Narrow for women, but when they arrived they were a 10N for men /11 1/2 for women. They were huge. I did like the foam bottom, felt like walking on clouds. And by the way narrows are A or AA not B

The fit was good but the cushion support only lasted for about 2 weeks. I can tell when the support is fading because my left knee will start to hurt. All I have to do to relieve this is to change shoes. That's when I usually get new ones. Because I have wide, flat feet I often buy New Balance which usually work well. Unfortunately the style I liked the best ( Dynasoft Nitrel)l they no longer make so I tried these.

I was disappointed to find that these were narrower than advertised and felt more like a size 7 than a 7.5 Skechers fit me better and have a similar construction with an added bonus of being much less expensive.

This are nothing like the version 12. They have a very narrow toe box-the exact opposite of v12
