I have hiked well over 3500 miles in the XA Pro. Including a PCT thru hike. Never had a single foot issue in all those miles. It just does not get better. Can't recommend this show enough. It far acceded any of my expectations, and I will continue to purchase this shoe for my back country needs as long as my legs will carry me.

These shoes are for looking cool around town. Theyre not my trail runners. I have the speed cross 6 for that. Why? The toe box is too stiff and over built for my liking.

Sorry to say that I personally found these shoes to be quite uncomfortable. The support underfoot feels extremely minimal.

I purchased these shoes a month ago and absolutely love them. They offer the support that I need with the breathability that I expected.

I got these shoes and used them for trail running and casual wear. The lasted about 3 months before falling a part. Used to have very similar Solomons about 15 years ago when this style first came out, and the lasted me years. Quality has fallen off. While they were comfortable and I really loved them, there's no point if I have to buy 4 pairs a year. Won't be getting these again.

This is my 8th pair of XA PRO 3D. I have them in all different colors because it's the only shoe I've found that is super comfortable and holds up really well.

Shoes are great as expected. Customer service is the best. Had a pair of defective shoes and Salomon stood behind their product. Very happy with shoes and service

On my third pair. Use them for military use. Great comfort however they do not seem to last more than a year before they lose tread and begin to fall apart. More durability would get 5 stars.

I like the fit, feel and quality of these. I have had other Salomon shoes similar to these and they are wearing well, too. I do not like the lace up system so cut the laces out and re=laced them with traditional laces.

Began jogging before any such shoes were on the market... gradually then tried many brands.... now I am jogging-running-walking (repeat) on desert trails of sand and rock and cactus. These shoes hold up under demanding conditions and support my life-long effort as a casual but persistent exercise freak. I do highly recommend them.

After receiving these shoes I realized the color is more a rose color than a brown or beige. They were worn one time and Salomon wont exchange them or take them back. The color is horrible

I have trouble finding shoes, because my foot is both wide and tall given the length of my foot. These shoes are one of the few that fit well. I used a prior pair as my approach shoe; very durable as well.

This is my second pair of Salomons after the first pair would not fit right and had issues with the tounge constantly falling out of place, causing discomfort. I switched to these shoes and found them opposite of the last shoes. These were too tight, leading my toes to bunch up against each other - which led to massive blisters while hiking. These do seem to provide decent support, but finding a pair that will actually fit you may be challenging. They are quite airy, which can be a good thing, but leaves them on the colder side when it's cold outside. They seem to be primarily plastic and the soles haven't held up well after roughly 200 miles walked in them. Compared to my cheaper shoes from another backcountry/outdoor company, these leave a lot to hope for. I am nothing but disappointed in the Salomon brand and don't want to continue wearing these after trying over and over again to like them. While most people I know that love them state it takes a while to like them, I think over 200 miles and still getting blisters is beyond enough time. While I'm sure Salomon's are good for some, they are terrible for me and I'll never consider the brand again. That said, this shoe does not have the same issue with the tounge of the shoe sliding around as it has a loop in the middle to hold it in place, resolving the design issue of many of their other shoes.

Pretty displeased. I am an 11.5. On a show measuring device. All other shoes including Salomon are 11.5. These fit so loose. They are rather wide. I have a pretty high volume foot and am technically on the wider end of the spectrum. These feel too wide. Worse however is the fact that they are at least a full size to size and a half larger tan stated. My foot wants to slip out every time I step. Very mad since I threw them on for the day and left the house and now I cant return them.

I think this is my 6th pair of this shoe in the last 16 hrs! I prefer them to any tennis shoe. Whether its for hiking in drier climates, or as a casual shoe for around town, dont think Ill ever try anything else. Highly recommend!

Over the last few years these have been great trail runners that I have used on my thru hikes of the AT, BMT, the Pinhoti Trail, and the Colorado Trail. I just restocked 3 more pairs for doing a thru hike of the Continental Divide Trail in 2025. I love them, but have to use the wide model.
