I am a huge fan of Smartwool products with many pairs of socks and a quarter zip base layer I live in during the winter. But these mittens are a disappointment. I thought they were intended for cold temperatures -- 20s and 30 s -- but they are not. They're fine in the 50s, maybe 40s, but otherwise provide minimal warmth. They do not live up to the way they are advertised and are too expensive for what they provide.
