The Gamma pants have become my absolute choice of choices when I am purchasing pants. They fit GREAT, have pockets for days, fabric wears well, and they dry fast when I get them wet!! The sizing guide is accurate - meaning I found my measurements and ordered the correlating size and they fit perfect!! I appreciate that as well even if it seems like a minor thing ;0)

I really enjoy the gamma softshell material; its durable but lightweight and also water repellent. They are comfy to wear and are a stylish piece as well; I've worn them as everyday pants and not just for outdoor activities. I love the forage colourway and I wear my gamma pants all the time!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
The pants are awesome.... Arc'teryx never disappoints. Pricey, but well worth it!

These pants are realty nice. While I don't consider myself a hiker, I am a dog walker and am outside a lot in all kinds of weather, most recently in the summer heat and humidity. I did not overheat. The material and fit were excellent. I like how you can tighten the ankle part, ticks won't crawl inside. The zippered pockets are deep and the zippers work easily. I am 5 feet 2, 115 lbs. and purchased the 4 regular. My waist is 30" and my hips 35." I have two pairs of the Arcteryx Sabria pants that they no long make in size 6 and although they fit, they are slightly large so I opted for the size 4 in these pants which I am glad I did. I purchased the Forage, Black Sapphire and Black colors. They are worth the money. In the winter I will add a base layer. You can also adjust the built in belt. The snap closure is underneath. I wore them to the supermarket the first day I received them and I got a compliment.

I order a size 2S and it fit perfect for me. Also, the color is very cool. I bought because I'am going to Bali and I'm sure the Gamma pant will be confortable during all my trip including the long long trip by plane.

Great pants, great material, kind of stretchy so if you want them to fit tighter don't be afraid to order a size down. Mind felt like they stretched out a bit as the day went on as well. I wish I sized down but still liking them.

This is my 3rd pair of Gamma Pants and the fit keeps getting better! I still wear my other ones a ton and they haven't worn out, but this years gamma pant seems to really be perfect. The length, the waist and I love the new colors. I also wore them out in the rain today and I don't know if it was because they were new, but they were very water resistant as well. The rain beaded off which I wasn't expecting.

I bought them a couple of months ago. They are a great fit, ordered the "tall" and they made all the difference.

A very technical pant that I once considered only appropriate for the backcountry has now become my favourite for day to day use. Perfect for travel, hiking, climbing or just on the streets. A flattering fit with high rise waist and adjustable belt, I wear with a t-shirt tucked in on the side or a cropped fleece. Wickable, quick dry and perfect for the mountains or the street.

This is possibly the 10th pair of gamma light pants I have bought. I just love them.
I am very tall and this feature of buying tall version is super important to me. I work as a hiking guide and wear these pants 30 days a summer.

I really love the fit and material of these. Just returning from Red Rocks and climbing Yosemite next week, I know which pant I'm going to keep grabbing for. The material is thick but has a nice stretch, and they are going to easily take me into ice climbing and mountaineering.
The one buzz kill of these pants that keeps me from instantly running out and buying 2-3 more is your depth of your button snap. It's too shallow, so it doesn't securely snap and hold. I had to look up reviews to ensure I didn't have a defective item, but even with some extra room in the waist (I'm between a 2 and 4 and went with 4), it still comes unsnapped throughout the day. Please please please swap it out in your next version.

I've had a good experience of the gamma pant, bought for alpine climbing and environmental work. Whilst they're a brilliant hiking and climbing trouser, I really wish they offered the women's equivalent of the Gamma Guide pant that has recently been discontinued. It used the Burly 2.0 fabric which was super hard wearing, more water resistant and had the reinforced panelling that made them great for ski touring. Please please bring out a women's pair or at least the men's so I don't have to borrow my partners with a belt!!

These are awesome pants. I love how more room was given in seat and thigh for strong legs. Only thing is the cuff is a little wide at the ankle.

These are one of my first Arc pants purchased and I've had an overall good experience with them. They are definitely a staple pant that you can use for various activities like hiking, walking, climbing or even just casually. I like how comfortable they feel on the skin, and the breathability it provides. My only concern is the fit, they fit me well around my thighs but are pretty tapered and tighter around my calves. But other than that, I've had a good experience with them and have no quality issues!

I'm a big fan of these pants, I've been using them for climbing and alpine adventures. I have a hard time finding pants for climbing as someone with a smaller waist and bigger thighs - I love how stretchy they are! These pants are really lightweight which is nice for warmer weather but also pretty delicate - I wish they were more durable & a little bummed that I already have tears in these pants because I like them a lot!

The perfect pants for climbing or hiking. The material is durable against rock and the stretch allows you to move freely.
I found the size to run a bit small compared to the Konseal Pants for example, but the stretch compensates for the smaller size. I'm 5'4 and wear size 4-S and the draw cord sits perfectly at my ankle, which is a great feature.
The side picked placement and built in belt make these very functional.

Really loved these pants when I tried them, but alas I need to size up. The length is perfection (short), just wish they had a 10 short. Can the design team finagle a request for 10 Short into their line-up?
