This is my 5th pair of Altra's and will never wear anything else. Even the Orthopedic doctors love these shoes for themselves & their patients!! I wear a half size larger than normal in my Torins.

Love ultras. So comfortable. I wear one pair to walk in and 1 pair to run in.

Torin 7's are one of the best pairs of shoes I've ever owned. They are sturdy, reliable, and with the wide version, extremely comfortable. In terms of cushion, they are perfectly balanced: not too plush, but not minimalistic either. Perfect for medium to long runs, and you can still get some good speed out of them without needing to break out your race shoes for speed workouts. I have logged 1,078 miles in these bad boys so far and they still have plenty of life IMO. (Yes, there is minor wear and tear but not enough to cause blisters or pain when I run). I even bring them out on easy trail runs sometimes. 10/10.

I run daily on road and crushed granite trails. Torin is made for frequent runs and high mileage. This shoe is a winner with me for comfort and performance!!!

I run 20-30 miles per week in these shoes. They are great for races, short, long, fast, easy runs.

My new walking/running shoes are my fourth pair of Alta shoes and I love them! I have trail running and hiking shoes as well. What I like about Alta shoes is that they are guaranteed to fit well and be comfortable right out of the box.

I purchased these for walking/running. I have had bunion surgery on both feet without complication. These give me plenty of room in the toe box, and the arch support is great. There's a slight difference in the heel height versus the rest of the shoe but very comfortable. They remind me of earth shoes from back in the day.

These are the same shoes I wear year after year. I'm very picky because I have "foot issues". I use them for running and at the gym during strength classes, where I need good support and traction.

I have worn my first pair of Altra's (Torin 7, size Women's 8) for over a year now, purchased Jan. 2024 and still wearing them. I mostly walk and they've seen around 8k steps/day on average over the past 14 months. I wear them just about every day unless it's raining (though they've been through plenty of rain anyway). I use them without the Altra insole and put in my own half--size orthotic inserts, which is perfectly comfortable. I love the shoes but have seen slight tearing from normal use, and the laces slipping easily. Material: Over time, they've torn around the toe box right where the shoe folds when I bend my toes up and inside, on the heel (this could be from putting my orthotic inserts in/out). These tears haven't reduced the functionality at all, and it's actually cool to see the inner structure of the shoes, but the look isn't great. Comfort: I have chronic hip and knee pain and appreciate the impact absorption of these, as well as the even toe and heel (I feel like I'm using my muscles better in these). The cushion has decreased a lot since I bought them, but having any left after over a year seems pretty good. I love feeling my toes have room and able to wiggle them comfortably. The shoes overall are a bit wider than my podiatrist would like, but I also have a fairly narrow foot and I just tighten the laces a lot. Function: The Torin 7 serve their purpose as shoes that are comfortable to walk/run/move in. If I wanted to regularly run, they aren't my top choice as I would need arch support and even higher absorption, but that's not a fault of the shoe. The only real functional complaint I have is with the shoelaces: no matter how tightly I tie them, if I don't double-knot, they come undone by the afternoon. I contemplated replacing the laces but just love the look too much and decided to double-knot them. Love this shoe overall, and I'm excited for my next pair!

I love these shoes so much! They are my favorite shoes for workouts and everyday life.

I have Morton's Neuroma and spent a lot of time researching shoes. These have practically eliminated the nerve pain I get in the ball of my foot. I could tell the difference immediately. Game changer.

Second time buying Torin 7 and they continue to exceed my expectations. Resolved foot and knee pain...I can't say enough about them! I use them for long fast walks 6-8 miles outside as well as treadmill use.

I am so happy to have found these sneakers with a very roomy toe box and the high cushion I need in my sneakers. ( I did order up 1/2 size as my usual for Sneakers.)

My foot, knee and hip pain are almost not existent. I have small, wide feet with high arches and I supinate. Other brands don't address all these issues without being rocker style!

I've bought three pairs of the same shoe in the same color. Please make more white!

These are by far my favorite shoe! Fits like a glove. So comfortable. I'm on my 4th pair. Does wear very quickly in the toes.

I just got this shoe and walked 19,888 steps in it and loved it the whole time because the cushion underfoot was delicious, my toes were not squished, the bump on the side of my foot was not feeling any pressure. Can't wait to take it out for a spin of jogging tomorrow. I like this shoe for daily training more than the HOKA Mach 6 and the Adizero SL2 that I also bought this year because neither of those 2 (although good shoes, too) had the roomy toe box that I adore.

Recently purchased my third pair. I love a good sneaker and haven't found anything that compares to the Torin 7s. I wish they were available in a white/navy colorway!

Great fit and feel from the first time out of the box. Use them for running and walking.

I strayed from Altra. Suffered Mortons neuroma. These are my best everyday shoe. I also have neuropathy in my feet. I cannot wear a shoe with a drop. Too much pain. This is my perfect shoe. I missed out on the 6 but I am back to stay. The cushioning is perfect. The drop is perfect. The wide toe is perfect. Thank you for Torin 7!

These are my walking shoes! Every morning and every evening I lay on these Torrens and walk some miles. They are completely comfortable and easy to walk in. I keep a newest pair for walking and not so new pair for shopping and other activities. I even keep an oldest pair for yardwork! Dedicated to these shoes.
