I thought this coat would be warmer

It's not comfortable around the wrists and it's pretty frumpy because it goes out a lot from the waist down.

I had to return this jacket. I usually get a medium in jackets to fit layers underneath but there was about 6 inches from my body and the jacket on both sides. It also had no shape and seemed way longer than it is in the picture. Definitely size down and if you're short it'll probably be too long.

Based on the warmth level from the website, the coat is very light weight and not warm. This coat is more appropriate for fall like temperatures.

I wore it this morning with a wool thermal layer underneath and I was very very cold. And it's only -7C (20F) outside, no wind and no humidity! Very disappointing. Buy it looks nice, beautiful white color. Just not for the winter.

We quality was not good. I was replacing my old coat and it did not compare.

It says 600 down but I don't think it is ligit because when I wear first time and go outside I didn't feel cozy enaf I return it

This jacket is extremely lightweight and VERY warm. However there is no way to tighten the hood. I am SO extremely disappointed in that aspect of this jacket. I was walking in windy conditions yesterday and I had to pull the hood around my face with my hands because it kept blowing back. Also the sleeves are short and I hate the feeling of the elastic wrists. There is always a gap between my gloves and my wrists exposing my skin. I really wish I had purchased the longer jacket instead of this one.

I keep finding holes

This thing is thin, and cold. Don't buy it. PLUS TNF has a terrible return policy. buy a non-corpo brand that actually builds this product to be used outside.

I was disappointed with the overall quality of the jacket for the price, and the arms fit very strangely, not to mention the return process has been INSANELY slow. I will never buy directly from TNF again for this fact.

Northface is usually my go-choice for outdoor gear. This coat is the exception. Its too thin and wind blows right through the coat, especially in the arms. Not worth the cost. Will be returning.

Very thin it's not worth 300

Had to return the longer parka, as it was too long. That version shorter or to the knee would have been amazing. So disappointed. I have had my 600 for 16 years and had to get a new one. This one is so cheaply made. Plastic snaps, no lining in the pockets, no detachable hood or ability to cinch hood. No inside zip pockets. Coat is not puffy at all and sleeves are way too tight. I am 5'6 139lbs.

This product has significantly gone down hill. The fabric is SO thin and not durable. They have removed the interior pocket(!?!) and the jacket is SO much longer than what is shown in the photo online.

The cut for this coat is small i ordered a medium for my wife she didnt like how it was a little tight on the shoulders and around the waist

This coat is nor warm enough for walking , I walj my dog and she is old and slow. They wouldn't take it back cause past 30 day. My old one is warmer. I done with north face 6 jackets I've bought. And I wanted to but the heavier parka, but No. Lousy So now I wear my old coat. I will purchase from another company from now on.

Was really excited to invest in a North Face jacket for the first time. For cold Montreal winters, I need something that will block out the chill and keep me warm while I'm outdoors. I've worn this jacket in -2 weather with layers underneath and still feel chilly, this jacket isn't going to last at all during the peak of winter. It's rated a "3" on their warm scale, which is insane. Is this jacket defective, or has North Face quality just gone down the drain? After spending $350+ on this, worst purchase of my life.

Not as puffy as in the picture, wristbands extremely uncomfortable too. Super flimsy, held it in one hand and my cheap coat I've had for years in the other and it felt like I was holding a shirt compared to the other.

I used the sizing guide but this was huge; each zipper wrapped to my hip. The fabric was nice but they didn't offer petites so I used the sizing guide and it still said I needed a large.
