The jacket runs a little small, so would encourage you to size up.

Loved this jacket just needed a longer one so had to return. Hood also could have been bigger. Very warm though and love the color

I was debating between a couple of NF jackets but glad I went with this one! It's like wearing a cozy blanket outside. I love the felt line pockets. I only wish they would add inside pockets and a chest pocket for women's coats! I ordered a size large which is still roomy enough for layers. I am amazed how warm it is for such a lightweight flattering coat.

Nice and soft material. It keeps you warm. The jacket is on the thinner side not too thick. Would recommend.

I was looking to buy a warm (but not heavy) parka, knee length or just below the knee. I tried both the XL and XXL. This is a great style - and not too heavy, which is a plus! However, it could use just a smidge more room from just below the chest and up. Also, could be a bit more roomy in the arms. I would say 2 more inches in both chest/arm area should be perfect. For reference, I am 5'6", my upper arms are not big, medium boned, 40DD bra, 179 lbs. I tried the XXL. While it was more comfortable in the chest and arms, it was huge on me from the waist down (in a not flattering way). Arms on this size way too long, XL was better. Overall, I would go with the XL - although I think overall North Face needs to allow some extra room in the chest for some of us ladies.

I too was skeptical of this jacket being so lightweight; it was 10 degrees out the day after I bought it and went out with nothing but a tee shirt underneath and did not feel cold. If you require the assurance of a heavy coat this is not for you but it does perform without the bulk or weight. The elastic wrists surprised me but I don't have an issue with them. The sleeves could be a little longer. I was afraid I would be disappointed but I am pleasantly surprised. Not so much with the price although it is well in line comparatively with what's available today.

It's long so it keeps your whole body warm and is great! I think it might be a little cold if the wind blows, but I think it's a great product for regular winter use!

This is my 4th North Face jacket and I love it. The quality is great, the color is always as pictured. I gave it 4 stars because this jacket runs large.

Warm and comfortable but a little less puffy than anticipated. The jacket feels a bit deflated compared to photos and what is advertised.

I love how warm and comfortable this coat is. I wish it fit my arms a little better as I am 5'9" with long arms. Other than that I believe the sizing is pretty accurate. I wouldn't size up or down with this coat.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
This coat is amazing except for one thing. It’s way too BIG!! I’m 5’ 7” & weigh 138 give or take, I wear medium in coats & jackets. I have 3 other North Face jackets/ coats & they fit perfect. This coat is well made, super light weight, perfect length in sleeves & body, deep pockets & a great zipper that glides well. It’s just huge in the width, even when wearing a warm sweater. I love this coat but have to send it back. Hope they have a small.

Super cute. Size down if in between sizes. I wanted to love this, however, I bought it because the warmth rating in the site gave it a 3 out 3 for warmth, and the first time wearing it outside it was 18 degrees and did not keep me warm. I could feel the breeze on my back and only could stay out for 15 minutes. If you are looking for a warm jacket, this one may not be it.

Hi, just purchased this coat for the cold days of Chicago. This coat is really lite so I was worried it would not be warm enough. I wore it on a 32 degree day in February. I was wearing a sweat shirt on under the coat. I direct traffic for a few hours a day at a school so I need a coat that can keep me warm. This coat isn't it. While I wasn't freezing, I did feel a little chill on my arms after a while. I think it's would be great it would for moderate weather conditions like above freezing temps. Otherwise I like the coat but not enough for these Chicago winters. Buying as arctic parka for that.

I am 5’ 6” 212 lbs I ordered a XL, the arms fit perfectly but the body of the coat is really big and not flattering at all. It came to my knees, so it’s a good length. Seems warm but not as cute in person, looks cheap imo. Overall I would size down.

This coat could have been so good- the body is true to size. I'm usually always a medium in North face puffers and I'm 5'3" 138 but the arms on this were oddly tight. It made me look like the Michelin man and they put this horribly itchy, uncomfortable, tight, elastic cuff on the wrist.why!?!?!??

I love the cut of this jacket. the A-line is so flattering and comfortable. The fabric feels amazing. But it has some major cons. First, it runs small. The wristbands feel cheap and tight/uncomfortable. The pocket liners feel cheap & there is no interior pocket. The coat isn't fully lined, which will let air blow right through it. It's also not super dense and I don't see it being that warm. Disappointing as I preferred the style of this jacket over the triple-c, but ultimately kept that one because it felt like much better quality and functionality.

I bought this coat in Sept. Not knowing there was a 30 day return. Now I see a cost that's warmer and more money and they won't let me exchange. I have the older model it's much warmer. I never wore the coat outside. Just tried on in my home. If I would have known more coats were coming out I would have waited. Very disappointing. I need a heavier coat, I walk everywhere.

I bought this to replace a Metropolis parka from a couple of years ago. Metropolis is no longer offered, and this looked comparable. Sadly TNF quality and features have plummeted the last few years. Notably, this parka is not fully lined. All past TNF parkas I have owned have been fully lined, but this one is only lined in the front. The other huge disappointment is that there is no interior zippered chest stash pocket. It has been my favorite TNF feature for years so I can keep my wallet and chapstick without needing a purse or losing them out of the hand pockets. Just feels cheap all around. Not sure if I'll keep it or not. Annoying. I'm
