Love the fit and feel of the jacket. I'm 6'5" and 200lbs, and it fits amazing. Not too tight, it moves with me, and doesn't get all baggy or bunched up under other layers. Material is very comfortable, the jacket is pleasantly warm.

Arc'teryx most versatile piece, can be worn as a mid layer or an outer layer perfect fit for either and shockingly warm for its weight.

Lightly insulated weather resistant hoody type jacket. Good enuf for 0 degree days I would say. Maybe even less. Slightly fitted. Looks good enough to own two.
I'm 5'8, 175lbs, 43" chest and medium fits perfect.

Such a great product. Not too warm, not too cold. Perfect for mixed conditions in a temp range from 5 to 15C or as an insulation layer below that temp.

I think thet I finally got the most flexible jacket on the market. I used it in different kind of occasions as in different kind of activity (trekking, casual, skialp,...) every time it was perfect, warm enough and water repellent as much as it was necessary.
I'm totally in love with it and I suggested to some friends who are very happy too!!

Fantastic layering/ insulator, thin down but good at retaining heat, wish it was abit more waterproof as water can be absorbed, never seeps through though.

Great insulator, thin down but excellent at layering and keeping wind out. Only wish it had better hydrophobic outer, seems to absorb water, although never comes through. Worn everywhere from Snowdon to the Alps.

Living in the PNW, this jacket has been perfect for the weather post summer and as the days get cooler. I find myself wearing them while riding my bike, walking to work, or adventuring in the mountains. Keeps me warm and its comfortable enough that theres no restrictions when im moving (Like if I raise my arms over my shoulders).
One thing that I don't hear enough people talking about is how the zipper and collar fits when zipped up all the way. Its designed in a way that doesnt pull my beard hairs (Which other jackets do!) its very comfortable.

My previous atom (2019) has very narrow shoulders which looked funny on me in a size large. Extra large was always way too bulky in the torso.
This new atom fits me perfectly. The main issue for me has always been wide shoulders and longer arms. The fit of this jacket is perfect if you are athletic. It's articulated well also. I can raise my arms overhead with zero hem lift.
I know everyone has an issue with tyono 20 fabric but I have yet to experience anything other than minor pilling after 5 years. Of course I don't use this with backpack straps which seems to be the main issue. If I'm hiking I use my proton or a soft shell.
I don't feel that's it much larger than the pervious version besides the room in the shoulders.
For reference I'm 6' 205lbs and lean. The large fits perfectly.

Just received my new Atom and I agree with Noah from two weeks ago. This new batch of Vitality seems darker and richer than I've previously seen. It's a really beautiful color. And of course the Atom is just a really great hoodie! Highly recommended!

Got my black atom stolen a few months ago and couldn't handle life without it. The new one is such a beautiful blue colour, I love it! So comfy and versatile, a must have for anyone!

The most versatile jacket(s) I own... not too heavy for alpine, not too light for Scottish winter (under a shell), ideal for ski-touring, just slim enough to take bike-packing. Perfect for walking, ideal for travelling. There really is not much else I own that fits into such an array of uses. Some folk grumble that the wind whistles through the sides too much, but in this instance it has been the wrong jacket choice, or a shell needs to be brought. The sides negate any sweat build up, the SV version of this is much less useful without them.
If anything, and this is super minor; I do not need these pockets to have zips. If open, they would be comfier for walking on the hands/wrists, and would be closed by a harness waist-belt when climbing. But I cannot see a version like that coming out. Love this jacket.

This jacket is my absolute favourite during the summer months in mountain climate. I always carry it in my backpack when I am handling out in town or when I am in the mountains. It is a decent wind stopper and water resistant in light to moderate rain. I just purchased my second one after around 6 years of loyal service from my first Atom. Very versatile piece of clothing.

The Atom Hoody is perfect for daily wear, particularly in Metro Vancouver. It fits well and is packable. The jacket provides just the right amount of insulation for cold and chilly days, and it effectively blocks the sun and strong winds. This is an automatic recommendation for anyone looking to try an Arc'teryx jacket. Overall, it's an excellent choice for everyday use.

I picked this hoody because I love my Practitioner hoody for SAR and was looking for something similar but in more "casual" colors. Although I like the Practitioner's interior better. I still love this jacket and I have been wearing it pretty much everyday since I got it! Very comfortable, just warm enough, and breathable, and it is nice enough (at least in Solitude color) to wear at the office.

Only had a chance to wear a few times so far, but this hoody is a perfect mix of temperature control, wind resistance, water resistance (more for misty/light drizzle) and overall weight.
