I got this jacket for my dad 4 months ago and had to get one for myself. This jacket is so warm and light and yet incredibly tough. Was a pretty good deal as well

This is my Fifth Atom product I now have three jackets and two Gillets in different colours. You wont find a more versatile pice of clothing, I wear mine all year and never get too hot and never too cold. The quality of craftsmanship is second to none, every seam is well made and strong. Comfort is also outstanding and with the stretch panels in the sides makes for a comfortable experience. I have washed my older versions many many times and if you just spin and hang they come out like new every time and dry very quickly. I absolutely love my Atoms they are my go to every time. try one you wont be disappointed. Thanks Mark

Just got another Atom jacket to replace one that is now too big - it's versatility as a layer and a jacket on its own is unmatched, for hiking to around town.

This is an excellent jacket for just about anything. I use it as a stand alone during cooler weather but also works great for layering. I like it so much I have 4 or 5 of them in different colors or the hoodie version.

I have heard great things about Arc'teryx's Atom LT. I have been a long-time fan of the Atom SL, a piece I use every day. However, in some outings, especially late fall winter, or early spring, the SL isn't warm enough. The Atom LT comes in for those chilly belay or cold bouldering outings where I just need a little more. Arc'teryx's Coreloft insulation is just right: it regulates temperature when I start building up heat but dispenses it so I'm not sweating through. The LT fits nicely under a shell in case the weather heads south but as a stand-alone piece, it's great. Even after some hard abuse, the jacket stands up. I wish I had one earlier.

I've had this for a year, and it's become my go to. Feels structured and substantial enough to keep me warm, also light and breathable enough to manage fluctuations in temperature. Great all around jacket for a wide range of activities

I am on my third Atom - first one was loved so much by my son, I ended buying another. An unfortunate leave behind after a transatlantic flight and well the third was purchased. Super light, warm but not bulky. Cleans easily - I wear one daily as a top layer in MN and as a midlayer while skiing. Best jacket to hike the Highland bowl - put your Sabre in the pack and climb! This might be the best fitting mid-layer I own!

Bought this jacket for fall and spring use. Very comfortable, lightweight, and packable. Materials are very soft to the touch, seams and stitching are perfect, cuff and stretch panels are of high quality materials. Very warm for its weight while remaining breathable.

Many years ago now, when I bought my first of many Atom jackets, the salesperson at the outlet sale told me: good choice, you'll live in this. I have. Grt for so many situations and weather, this is probably the key Arc piece of them all, a tough call to make!

This is my third atom jacket. The sizing has changed a bit as well as the finish of the jacket. It seems lighter than my previous ones although I still think it is a great jacket.

Bought the Atom Jacket last spring when it was still known as the Atom LT jacket. I have used this jacket for hiking, backpacking, fieldwork in northern BC and for everyday wear. It is great on the chilly days as a standalone piece or as a layer. Jacket fits true to size.

Perhaps the best design, aesthetically built to last with top-notch materials. The jacket curves to your body providing a contoured look. An excellent product!

I purchased a size large, as I am 511, 195 pounds with an athletic build. The mid section of the jacket has extra room for a larger belly I assume, but the extra space luckily doesnt poke out while I move around. The top of the jacket is a bit snug on my shoulders and pecs. The sleeves are perfect length and easy to move around. I can tell a difference in the warmth in comparison to other brands. Larger athletic guys beware, I wear a medium or large depending on the brand and I am glad I sized up, I am almost big enough to fill out an extra large in this brand even though I could still wear a medium hoodie from under armor.

Warm and comfortable base layer. The fit is good, I am 1.70m (5'7'') tall and weigh 68kg (150lbs) and I am in good shape. Freedom of movement is good.

This is an excellent insulating layer for town or the mountains. A weakness is that the zipper will simply not stay where it is positioned. Zip it all the way up and the zipper has a mind of its own gradually sliding back down. This is very annoying- but still just a first world problem.

As a mid mid layer it doesn't get any better than the Atom jacket. It will side comfortably over any base layer and provide a frictionless mid layer under any shell be it hard or soft without bulk. This makes it ideal for ce climbing where maximum mobility is key. The side venting panels make it perfect for approaches or while climbing - it really is the all in one ideal mid layer. I have a hood on my base layer and a hood on my shell so like this option with no hood to keep things simple. An added plus is that it's a great down town jacket as well.

Great lightweight mid layer. Fabric is fairly durable, however I have noticed the newer jacket material does appear to be thinner compared to my other atom jackets
