So soft, love slightly shorter length, the boxy fit, and the fabric. The navy stripe still looks black after one wash. Would wear it everyday if I could.

Bought these in navy/cream and red/cream many years ago and enjoyed wearing them very much. Needed to update my wardrobe so glad I found these again. Hoping for more color choice though like red/cream and olive green/cream. Also additional choice of long sleeves would be nice so you can wear year round!

Great top, similar to the French Sailor shirt which you use to make. Runs a little large, order a size smaller. I like the shorter length because it doesn't have to be tucked in, a more stylish look! And the fabric weight is very nice. Thank you LL Bean

I ordered the navy/sailcloth and love the feel and look of this shirt. Years ago I ordered a long-sleeve version of this and wore it constantly. I expect to do the same with this one. Fabric is medium weight, feels and looks great with good drape and no wrinkling. Loose and comfortable.

Nice stand in for the classic French Sailors Boatneck. The knit is heavier than a tshirt but not too heavy.

Love this shirt. Didn't know if I would like it before I tried it on. Looked so boxy but I loved the colors for spring and summer. Tried it on and it looked so modern and stylish. Try it on you will love it.

I liked this shirt so much I accidently purchased it twice! I owned the cream/navy shirt and purchased the navy/cream shirt. I'm 5'5",130lbs, broader shoulders and my normal LL Bean size is Reg. Small. The size small shirt l fit fine even after a wash/dry cycle.

I have an ancient LLBean mariner shirt and was hoping to find a replacement. Was so glad to see this back. It's a solid weight, comfortable (loose) fit. Hope they bring back more colors.

Now this is the quality Bean is known for! Quality workmanship,great fit, love the heavier material and the look. Been buying Bean for years and will continue to do so.:)

Very nice heavy weight cotton shirt. I gave it 4 stars because the sizing is large and boxy. While I usually order a medium, I orderer a small but could possibly have taken an extra small. I am 5'4" and weigh 125 lbs.

After the initial order shipping notification with tracking number, I never understood why this package never appeared on my UPS MY CHOICE. Today when it arrived, I saw the reason. Somebody had addressed it with my phone number in the place of the address. Down further was my address. Due to this incorrect labeling it got delayed after it had come 20 mins from my house then took off 6 hours away to another state. If your body is wide, this will work well for you, but mine is not. I am a size small, Bust Measurement (NOT bra size) is 38" Waist 32". I got the XS. The size chart has XS being a chest measurement 33-34". Not true. An XXSmall would have been the right size for me, but hopefully it will shrink. I like my clothes to fit close to the body to show my figure. The quality of the top is excellent.

This is a nice thick shirt, somewhere between a shirt & a sweatshirt. As other reviews noted it runs really big. I definitely could have gone be down a size.

Good quality and a substantial knit, heavier than a regular tshirt and has a nice drape. My only gripe is that its a little short in the torso and I feel like Im always kind of tugging at the hem. Im tall and long waisted though, so your mileage may vary. Wish this came in tall sizes!

I like this top very much. Its perfect for spring and fall in California.

I like this top. It's comfortable fabric and is a little roomy, but that's OK. I bought the blue ombre, which is really fun! It's a bit too thick a fabric for a hot, Minnesota summer day, (in the 90s with 75% humidity) but great for spring and cooler days in the summer. I wasn't sure I'd like the drop shoulder, but it looks cute on. It's a keeper.

I'm happy I was able to get this "Heritage Top" in the "navy/off white. I usually I usually take a Petite Large", but, I ordered one in the "Petite Medium". It's so nice, though it's Boatneck" top is a little too roomy, so I wear a sleeveless crew neck under it. In September, I hope to wear it in Nantucket!

Unfortunately, I had to return this one. I liked its design and colors, and it seems to be a nice substantial fabric of good quality, but the fit was too boxy for me not flattering at all.

This is a substantial tee and the color is great! I debated for a while about purchasing because I couldn't decide on the size since the reviews were mixed but tended to lean towards it running large. What I couldn't glean from the reviews was how much larger it actually ran. Some said to size down by one and others said to go two sizes smaller. I am a medium depending on the cut and brand and took the chance and ordered the small. It fit, but I definitely could have gone down to an XS in this. For reference I'm 5'2", 150lbs and curvy. So the sizing is way off in this particular top.
