I love my tote! It's strong and crisp. The medium will make a perfect beach bag. I got the one with black trim and golden yellow stacked monogram for myself. I got a classic navy one with lime green name for my godson. Will be back for more as gifts!

Bought the dark green and had it monogrammed in dark green too. I'm a girl who loves my roadtrips and this bag is so perfect for a weekend stay. Not a fan of rollaway suitcases. Can't believe I never had it before. It stands up perfectly in the trunk of my car so the contents don't go spilling out when driving. The zipper is nice but have not used it much but definitely recommend getting the zippered bag just in case. This is such a classic. I also got a cute card with my purchase letting me know who put the monogram on. So thoughtful! I will have this bag forever. Flawless stiching. Monogram is 6 Flaredcase in case anyone is interested (dark green thread). I only write reviews for LL Bean because I love this store so much.

I chose the large canvas bag in red along with a name monogrammed in red. It was so beautiful. I love these bags as gifts.

I purchased this bag as a gift for my adult son and had it monogrammed with his last name. I know he will be able to use it in a miriad of ways...car tote, beach, workout, travel, etc. It is SO roomy and handsome with the monogram as well. My daughter received as similar one from LLBean as a HS graduation gift in 2006 and it is still going strong. LL Bean makes products to last!

This bag can fit A LOT! Great for a beach bag or if you're transporting misc things. It's very durable and can handle a lot of weight. This would be a great gift for any parent or someone who has their own business, especially since you can monogram it! :)

I got a large zip top boat and tote with long straps for groceries to cut down on plastic waste. I love my bag and the monogram in the recommended color matches the straps perfectly and looks great so I love carrying it. If you're on the fence I chose this bag over other bags because (1) this bag stands up in the car and at the store while I'm bagging (2) the weight test gives me peace of mind while I'm carrying milk and glass, I've had cheaper reusable bags' straps tear out carrying milk (3) the zip top prevents anything from spilling out of the bag while I'm walking or driving. I can also report that the large fits under an airline seat.

Bought one for myself, then ordered another with monogram for a friends birthday gift. These are very sturdy bags, with a flat bottom and comes with a zipper opening, if you want. You can get it open as well. These are excellent and I love them. My friend was so please with what she said was a very "considerate" gift.

I have a few of these bags and love them as they are very durable, the long handle length option is great as it can be carried in the shoulder. American Made is something I always look for. Only unfortunate things is LL Bean has stopped doing the customizable boat and totes. You can still monogram but you used to be able to pick the canvass color and handle color, with or without a pocket etc. to truly make it personalized. Bag itself is awesome. Hope one day the customization returns as an option.

LL Bean boat bags are a staple item and last for SO LONG! I bought this for my sister as a wedding gift and the monogram came out perfectly too.

I love the tote but I'm very unhappy with the monogram it should Be aCs or ASC! Instead they did ACS, which is not my monogram!

I work from home, but every other week I go into the office. This bag (medium, zip-top with regular handles) is the perfect size for my laptop, headphones, and all of the various cables. I'm also a knitter, and found that this same bag is the perfect size for carrying my current project. After switching the computer/accessories and knitting/accessories in and out of the same bag a few times, I decided to purchase second Boat and Tote. Now, red=work, green=knitting. These are great, sturdy bags that are made to last forever, the color/embroidery is beautiful on both, and the monogram is free with an LLBean card. Highly recommended.

About 15 years ago I bought a small size LL Bean tote with zippered top and long handles, which I used for my bag in the Summer - had it monogrammed too. Several years after I bought it, I got married - but the tote was still fine and sturdy so I kept using it with the old monogram. But after almost 10 years of marriage and taking it on 2 trips to Europe, I realized it was high time to acknowledge my new name. So if I weren't so proud of my new name, and in love with my husband, I wouldn't have ordered a new one- but glad I did! And yes, I'm keeping the old one.

The representative happily applied the coupon, saving me nearly $50 on the order! The bags arrived in a timely fashion and looked spectacular! I loved the "made by" tags included in each bag, it felt so personal. I filled the bags for my sister and niece with Easter presents - the prettiest, most functional Easter basket I've ever put together! They absolutely loved their personalized bags and we can't wait to take them on our next girls trip.

I've ordered multiple LLBean totes over the years, but never the small one. I ordered this one with longer handles and my monogram to use as a summer purse and I'm glad I did. It's a good size - big enough for the regular purse things i carry around but not as bulky as the larger totes when loaded up with a magazine, book, iPad, or towel. I'll use my medium size for that!

The tote is simple, reliable and lovely. From my perspective, a small size suits to girls best, and middle size can really contain a lot. In addition to the good quality of the tote, the customer service of L.L.BEAN is also excellent. Patient and efficient, the customer service staff helps me exchange a tote even though it has a monogram. And I receive my tote before the estimated time. It 's worth for L.L.BEAN to get five stars. This tote is a gift for my friend who 's in high school. Hopefully she will like this.
