Fit great. Tongue is definitely long like other reviewers said but it softens overtime.

I usually wear size 7-7.5, I ordered a 7 instead. It felt likt its 8.5. Overall a Beautiful shoes unfortunately Im returning

Runs a little big, but not enough to size down.

I wear an 8.5 and went with an 8. This fit is correct. I agree with other reviews that that are not initially super comfortable. I like the look enough to invest in wearing them in. Also, these have greater arch support than other similar looking shoes.

Waay too big

They were very roomy - I really needed a half size smaller but I think that was a me problem (the shoe does fit true to size.) Classic style, super comfy. Very wide, roomy shoe.

This is a nice-looking shoe. I heeded other reviews that indicated this style runs slightly large--I usually am between a 6.5 and 7, but my Euro shoes are 37 which translates to a Veja size 6 according to their size guide. I'm glad I went with a 6 which fits fine up to Bombas-thickness socks, it seems like the leather will mold around my toe box ok too. Other reviewers said the tongue cuts into the ankle but this was not an issue for me (maybe it depends on the shape of the wearer's feet?) I will also always wear a sock between the edge of the tongue and my skin. I wouldn't say there was no support in this shoe, exactly, but there isn't much cushioning at all, which doesn't bother me but might bother others.

I'm usually a size 39 (8-8.5) in most shoes like Birkenstock, in the V-12s the 39 was just a bit too small. I ordered a 40 (size 9 US) and it's better, I really need a 39.5. Adorable styling and color combination, love the red-white-&-blue!

These felt great in the length, but kept slipping in the heel. A smaller size would be too small. Very cute style, but sadly I'm returning.

I wanted to like these so much. But they were too big and too wide. I usually wear a women's 8.5 and have narrow to medium wide feet. I like the look and the thicker sole.

I’ve been eyeing these kicks for a while and finally splurged and ordered. They fit more like a 7.5 than a 7 but I ended up not minding it. I was concerned about the other reviews that mentioned the tongue of the shoe being too long/uncomfortable. I generally have a lot of issues with tongues of shoes and my instep however it hasn’t happened with these. The leather of the tongue is very soft so even though it does reach my ankle, it hasn’t caused rubbing or discomfort. My only real complaint is how they are laced upon arrival. I don’t care for presentation — I’d rather just have the shoes ready to wear. If you’re a true size 7, I would order a 6.5. My foot is wider (visually similar Fred Flintstone) and I like having the extra wiggle room. They’re a great bright white sneaker for a casual outfit (with jeans or a dress if you can dig it). Big fan!

I have been looking at the Veja shoes for over a year now and finally decided to commit and ordered the V-12 pair. I wanted a casual sneaker that could be dressed up or down and would give me all day support from the office to after work drinks or for a day of traveling. Previously, I've been wearing air force 1s and the new balance 515s but wanted a step up into something with more of a loafer profile. The positives: the leather is so nice, definitely has the polished look I was going for and matches with everything in my closet. The sizing was good, I am an 8.5 in most sneakers and ordered the 39. I have fairly narrow feet, but was able to lace them tightly enough that I felt comfy and secure. The arch support was pretty good. These were also fairly easy to break in (way less painful than Docs!). I used the hack someone in previous reviews mentioned of pushing the tongue to the side for the first several wearings to increase flexibility, and found that very helpful. The negatives: the heel support was not great. I had the shoes for about a week, had worn them to the grocery store and a few other quick excursions to break them in, and then wore them for a whole day (~8 hours) walking around a town center with cobbled streets. By the end, my heels were sore and tired -- I will be ordering some inserts before I wear them for that long again. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase and don't think I'd be able to get the same level of style and versatility in a different shoe, even with the downside of the heel support.

Super cute - size down!

Love the look, comfort is okay.

I’m usually a 7.5, I got a 7 and the length is perfect. The style is adorable...I love everything about the look of these. Comfort wise, the shoe is comfortable, however...the tongue of this shoe is too long and too stiff. The first time I wore them I had horrible rub marks on the front of my ankle. Not one to give up on something I love...I worked the leather tongue, tried to soften it up. Nope. Finally I had a leather shop cut and shorten it. So much better now!

If you need arch support, not the shoe for you or you will need inserts. If you are half size, order the size down; there will be plenty of room. The shoe is constructed wonderfully and I love the look. Online I thought the color was closer to pink and when I got the shoe it was closer to lavender - still a beautiful shoe. Will take a little breaking in as the tongue is stiff. I wanted something a little more "dressy" than my running shoes and these fit the bill.

Couldn’t tell how they felt on because they were too big. Would like to replace with size 4.

Fit true to size, comfortable cushioning and very cute. Problem is that the tongue is too long and digs into your ankle. Darn.
