I am not a fan of this "replacement " comfort and recovery shoe; I absolutely loved the Ora recovery shoe 2; and have about 9 pairs of them. They are both extremely comfortable and supportive, and have a nice streamlined look, compared to the Restore, which looks like a barge on my feet. The Restore is too bulky, not cushioned well, and just look ugly on.
I'm hoping Hoka will take notice and produce a more comfortable and attractive comfort and recovery shoe.
I have neuropathy, flat foot, and severe mid foot arthritis; after trialing many brands, I found this Hoka Ora recovery shoe to be the only shoe I could wear comfortably, without severe pain.

I LOVE Hokas. I have 4 pair that I wear every day but didn't care for these. Recently had a knee replacement and thought these would be good but they just didn't feel good on me.

Really wanted these to work. Too short compared to other Yokas I own.

My Doctor recommended HOKAs when I had my ankle fused. I've had 5 pair and loved them all until these. I wore them for less than an hour and the side of my foot hurt so bad I could barely walk ! They were also very hard to get off and on.

Not a true slip on material is so soft, I couldn't get it on without hands. I use a customized insert. This shoe's insert was so think that when I took it out and put mine in, the shoe was too loose. This would have been my 4th pair of Hokas. Love the others. Had knee replacement recently and wanted to be able to just slip in to them. Looks like I'm going to have to stick with Skechers Slip Ins.
Disappointed,

had to exchange for a bigger size, finally got my exchange and the left shoe looked like it had been worn the while the right shoe looked brand new. Can't even return cause I bought them with Afterpay. Very very disappointed with this purchase needed these shoes for work. Won't be purchasing from HOKA again.

Picked size 9 my size, yet it was 1/2 bigger.
Picked regular not wide, yet it fits wide
The shape of these are just too bulky and more like for men's not women's . It's like wearing clogs.
Sorry not for me. Disappointed with these so I am returning, unfortunately.
Hoka, please make a slip-on walking shoes! Comfortable and plush!

Most Hoka's have decent cushioning. These absolutely do not - just a stiff gel insert. The soles are so big and bulky, walking is awkward. And Hoka, if you're listening, fire your entire design department - some of these color schemes etc are just ridiculous.

The cushioning is in the insert and not the shoe. This means I can't use my inserts

These shoes were at least 1.5 sizes smaller than said size. They were extremely rough on the inside. There would have been no wearing without socks. If you really, really want these shoes order 1-2 sizes bigger. The way the heal works it pushes your foot forward and your toes are smashed into the front. Do not buy is my suggestion... I returned mine.

I have been Hokas for years. I read the reviews on this slip on in advance of purchasing them, and although mixed, I assume there were just some unhappy campers out there. However, when I opened the box, I instantly knew a big mistake had been made. These shoes are not black, they are charcoal gray at best. The sizing is not accurate at all. I ordered a 14 and they felt more like a 12. The insoles are rubber. Very uncomfortable. They are just hideous. Hilarious. Hoka please, make these all black, and put in real cushion insoles and make them size appropriate. A lot of unnecessary stress was caused by putting this shoe on the market.

I bought these based on reviews and they were good as far as trying them on. I didn't see the wide width option so I ended up putting slits on the side but that still didn't work I stand 10hrs a day and this definitely the wrong shoe however I will try the hoka7 next these not it

This shoe is huge and bulky. Even thought the "fit" was ok, the shoe is just huge. Comes out in all directions around your foot. Not for me.

Clunky shoe. Looked like a clown shoe when I had it on. I felt like I was falling forward when I tried it on and walked up the hallway. So sad Hoka quit making the Hupana Slip shoe. I have worn 6 pairs of the Humana Slip shoe. The last pair is worn out and I have tried so many other shoes. I have had two knee replacements and have serious back issues. Finding a shoe that doesn't hurt my back is impossible.

The shoe was TOO clunky! I took a size smaller and it still was TOO larger!
I love the color! I did not want an athletic shoe, this style was nice not an athletic look.
I will be returning them and look for another brand.

I purchased the RESTORE TC for my once in a lifetime mediterranen cruise. I received the Gaviota 5 which are tie ups. I wanted slip on shoes for navigating thru the airport and while on shore excursions.

I was initially thrilled when I saw these shoes, thinking they would be perfect for indoor use. However, my excitement quickly waned. While they are easy to slip on and have soft material with some flexibility, the rough insole proved uncomfortableeven with socks. The arch support was painful, leading me to return them. As a loyal Hoka fan, this experience was disappointing. I long for a pair like the Bondi 8, which remains my favorite.
