This was my first purchase from Hoka. I had heard a lot about their shoes, and had high expectations that this would be a good purchase for me. I purchased these shoes, thinking that the suede leather would help them to last two years or more. I purchased them, full price, from the Hoka website. I will say, the shoes are comfortable. They give incredible support and cushion for your feet, and feel great when walking. However, after just 4 months of use, the leather shoelace loops began to tear away. I went ahead and sent them back to Hoka, hoping that they would repair or replace them. Unfortunately, they sent the shoes back, telling me that they were outside the date for their return policy. Also, I was disappointed that Hoka never emailed me with a notification about receiving my claim or even denying it. In the future, I will be going back to purchasing New Balances, which I have purchased in the past with great satisfaction. Their shoes have lasted easily two years.

The Clifton has a very different feel. It's almost like walking on a cloud and I sort of like it. If you buy this model keep this in mind.

Perhaps it's because they are "all gender"? My foot didn't fit the same...heel was slightly off. I was really disappointed since I did want a pair of Hokas built more for the winter season here in New England.

Hokas are the best shoes on the market by far. I will always stand by that. They reduce fatigue from long hours on the job better than any other shoe I've had (for a competitive price.) I sprang for the suede ones as a reward for myself to my own downfall. The eyelets where the laces tighten the shoe have a tiny bit of reinforcement but after only a month of wearing them week to week for work, one of the eyelets is tearing. These new shoes that have been my favorite pair will no longer be wearable soon and it breaks my heart. I do not do any rigorous running or movement for work, it is tearing from basic wear and tear from walking. Very disappointed but still love my Hokas :(

After 15 minutes of walking, both big toes had blisters. The sewn on Suede is an issue in the toe area. Narrow fit compared to other Hokas.

The suede makes for an elevated Hoka look. But I bought mainly for good support for long city or pavement walks. The balance in weight distribution is great and the weight of the shoes with every stride is negligible especially when your on your last thousand steps! My feet does not sweat despite the suede coverage which keeps my feet comfortable in cold weather. TTS and enough cushion. One of our go to shoes for comfort and stylish get up!

Less runnery than my Bondi 8sno one was picturing me runningthese are all-day-on-my-feet comfortable and such a fun color!

I was pleasantly surprised that they are more comfortable than Clifton 9 model that I already have. This is super important for me due to my heel pain. I use them daily and they have a great support so my heel pain is minimal while doing day to day work in them. Also I love the color (golden/celery one even tho I would say it's a type of green).

Love the shoes, but I ordered Earthenware/chili pepper. The shoes are a deep peachy pink. Trying to decide whether to just live with them or ship them back, and continue searching for something that works for me, in a color I want.

Love the way they feel and oh so comfortable. Wonder if they are available in women's sizes?

I loved the look of this shoe. I ordered a women's size 7 (what I wear in Clifton 9), but too small. The 7.5 just didn't fit like my other Hoka's, so decided to return. Maybe the unisex sizing?
