Fabulous! But needs breaking in. Especially in the heel and Achilles area. Also a bit snug around the arch area/top of foot. I bought a half size up bc I like to put my own insoles in. Thankfully I did that bc there is no arch support for high arches. So far lots of compliments and comfortable considering I just got them and doing tons of walking.

I like these Boots . They are comfortable and stylish. Get lors of compliments.

I love the look of these boots but they run so small. I am always a size 38. The boots are so tight they are unwearable.

Bought these for the Canadian winter and was able to wear it a few times and always got compliments. Was very happy with them. But then I took them on a trip to Iceland and fell in love! Wore them every day for a whole week and they were always so comfortable & amazing for hiking! And of course, still lots of compliments on how they look! Came back to Canada with spring in full bloom and I dont know how Ill go back to wearing other shoes! There were a number of reviews that said they fit small but I ordered my usual size and while they were a bit snug at first but they loosen up a bit for the perfect fit after some wear. I also always wear thick athletic socks with them with no problems.

Very comfortable. They are good for walking and standing.

Stylish and Comfy, I am a 9-9.5 in shoes, these are boots so I went 9.5, perfect fit with room for thick socks when needed. Not too narrow or wide, just right (I have an average to slightly wide foot). The splash of bright orange on the sole makes me so happy! These boots are really super waterproof as tested in our Montana spring!

Im a big raver and go to a lot of concerts and always need a comfortable platform boot for shows and festivals. I cant do the wedges or heels anymore, too bad for my ankles. These are great, perhaps I could have gone down a half size though. Replaced the insoles with my own, will take some time to break in. The heel cup is a little stiff.

I didn't find the boots too narrow; they fit nice and snug but not too snug and I would have been happy to wear them if they sent the right color. Unfortunately Sorel sent the wrong color (in the right box) and their process for correcting their mistake involved a return/refund/reorder that would take 15-20 days (15 days for the return/refund, plus the ship time to reorder) unless I wanted to reorder right away and give them another chunk of money while I'm waiting for the original refund. Since round one ordering didn't go great, I didn't really feel great about that. The one time discount code is used/gone, so I guess I'm kind of out of luck since I didn't want to immediate reorder. I'm pretty disappointed that that was the only solution they could come up with since it was their error in the first place.

This review is about company policy, not the boots so much, which seem great - although, while they may be "true to size" for Sorel, I found them to be on the small side. I'm usually an 8.5-9, and the 9 was crunching my toes if I wore medium to heavy-weight socks. So I decided to exchange them for a 9.5. Turns out Sorel doesn't do "exchanges," you can only return and then repurchase, which, fine....BUT they charge $6 return shipping. Sure, that's a small amount, but A) you're a big company with no brick and mortar store where I can reliably try these boots on to see what my size is; and B) on top of that, I actually want to exchange, not just return, so you're still getting my money. If you're selling $200 boots online, you should be offering completely free returns, period. Conclusion: don't buy your boots from Sorel directly unless you're absolutely sure you're getting the right size - go buy them from Zappos, which actually does free returns. Xx

I purchased the full black pair. I own at least 5 Sorel boots, I'm a consistent 8.5 these shoes are TOO narrow. I do not think sizing up would fix the issue, because then they would be too long, and still too narrow. Very nice boot if you have a narrow foot. Disappointed about the sizing issue, but it happens. Customer service was excellent about returning my pair.
