I wear a size 9. I originally purchased the black shoes, but after trying them on in my size, I felt like the way the sole peeks out from the sides made my feet look really wide. I returned those and purchased the ones with the lime green soles. They were very fashionable but I felt they were too short. Also, I wasn't too much of a fan of the silver hardware. Finally, I returned those and got the brown shoes after changing my mind on the color, which I didn't really think I'd like as much for being too plain. But the new size and color are great. The fit is perfect and I really like the style. My feet do not look super wide. And the price is much better.

Hi went up half a size for warm socks and they are the bomb. I wore my last waterproof black Carole out and use them for hiking. Constantly big hikes, 10 mile hikes, scrambling up rocks. These I worried would be too fashion oriented, but they are not. They look cool because they’re a little thick in the soul, but they are very rugged for hiking, and the bottoms are not so stiff that they hurt my ankles, which most hiking boots do, I love that they go up higher and I lace them all the way up on top of my skinny jeans or I tie them lower and wrap the laces around once which looks pretty cool too. I love them so much I wish they were slip on so I could just take them off and put them on easily when I dash out to yoga class as well! Now I just want to slip them on and wear them everywhere outside, even just getting the mail! I do think the giant gunmetal D rings for lacing are impractical and cumbersome but I am ignoring them bc the rest is so good.

I like them a lot. I was able to wear them all day doing a ton of walking. They are a great addition to my fall and winter wardrobe. I am a sucker for a gum sole. The hand of the leather is soft, not stiff at all. I got a lot of compliments when I wore them.

Not for people with wide feet. These were tight in the toe box immediately. Which is too bad they were pretty solid otherwise.

The boots are huge. I wear 8 1/2 or 9 and bought 9, because boots, you know. These fit more like a 9 1/2 or 10 yet the width was fine so I know a smaller size would be too narrow. These boots are lightweight and seem really practical with a rocker look. It’s too bad I have to return them.

I love the look of these boots. Sadly, I had to return them because they were way too big. I always wear a 9.5 in Sorel, so I was shocked when my feet were swimming in them. Beautiful boots are otherwise.

I often need to order Sorels a half or whole size larger than my other shoes. In this case, they were possibly long enough, but the toe shape didn't match my foot shape, so I would have had to go up a full size. They're cute, but bulky and I'd be afraid of sizing up again, so returning.
