Bought these in black for a 3-week trip to England and Scotland in the winter, and they were PERFECT. Wore them a few times prior to the trip to "break in," but there was no need. I was able to wear these nearly every day of our trip, and they held up walking miles in the city (sometimes in the rain), along gritty dirt trails in the country, and were easily cleaned up and could be worn with skirts for more dressy occasions. (obviously not super-formal, but they work for dressy-casual, with a downtown-cool vibe) In fact, I regretted even bringing another heeled ankle boot to wear for "dressing up"... these were so much more comfortable/useful for walking, and were simple and clean-lined enough that they never felt *too* casual. For sizing, I wear a 9 in heeled Cole Hahn boots (worn with tights), and a 10 in flat/riding-style Cole Hahn boots (worn with normal socks)... HOWEVER for these shoes I ended up sizing down to a 9, AND wore them with medium-thick Bombas Merino Wool Socks (which provided extra padding and needed insulation for the cold temps). LOVE!

I wore this boots for the first time with a heavy socks and absolutely love it!!! Comfortable, stylish and good quality!!! Runs big if you are wear with a thin socks .

Love the look and chunky sole. I ordered my usual size 6 but it was very long so exchanged for a 5.5. The length was still a little long but the width was super narrow. I measured my feet as instructed but felt that the measurements were off from the actual boot size. I ended up purchasing boot stretchers which worked perfectly to make the boots comfortable with my high instep. I like the boots much better now!

Finally! The best pair of boots I've found all season. After ordering 5 different styles of boots from other companies that all had sizing issues, this was the winner. They are comfortable, there is enough room in the ankle and toe box, they are high quality, and stylish. I am impressed by how lightweight there are too. Can't wait to wear with dresses and pants.

Usually I wouldn't give 5 starts to a boot that runs a little large (I'd say about a half size) but that works on this one because it allows me to wear thick smart wool walking socks with it. I wore the Greenwich Bootie almost continually for a four-day city break in New York and this comfortably and stylishly took me eight plus miles of walking a day through dry and rainy streets. I consider the cost of these versatile boots to be money well spent. I definitely recommend them; just size down if you want to wear thin socks or tights.

Beautifully crafted boot. Very comfortable. Run slightly large. I normally wear size 7 ~ had to purchase size 6. Fit perfectly. very pleased with the boots,

This boot shaft rises about an inch and a half above ankle. The proportions are attractive and it works well with all my pants lengths.

This is a good quality boot. I have a narrow heel, and this runs a little wide in the heel. Unfortunately, nobody makes narrow shoes anymore.

While I loved the previous version of these booties, they altered the design and now it is/looks clunkier. Also, the metal detail on the back of the boot, while pretty, makes noise with every step you take. However, the sole of the boot is incredibly comfortable, and way better than the one of the previous design. Preferred the old design with the newer sole

This is a beautiful boot. The gold hardware is a nice embellishment. Ran a little small so order up and wear a thick sock if necessary.

I have a worn these boots a few times now so I feel I can give my honest feedback. I have a wide foot but these boots are not offered in wide so I went a half size up from my usual size and I'm glad I did. These boots are very comfortable but do fit snuggly. I love that they are waterproof and did wear these in the rain and didn't have any issues. If you have wide foot, I would suggest sizing up by a half or shoes size. My only dislike is the boots are already starting to form creases which I didn't expect giving the price point and quality.

Despite the reviews, I found this to be a bit large on me and it looked a little funny on with a big gap around the ankles

Cute boots and I can tell they will hold up in bad weather but they are *very* snug, just something to consider (and I have very narrow feet)

Excellent boot but needs zipper.

Great shoe, however one seems more narrow (Lt) than the other and it felt like my toes were asleep. The style is terrific- the Rt shoe was perfect! Maybe the Lt shoe needs to be stretched.

These boots fit well everywhere, except for my toe area. I have narrow feet yet still these pinched my toes so much I had to return them.

Once they are on - super comfortable. But I need a shoe horn to get them on. Needs a zipper

Huge on me. I'm anywhere from an 8.5-10 in shoes but would usually not size down in a boot. My foot is moving all over in these and they were final sale so can't even exchange :(

I purchased this same boot two years ago. This same product arrived with a much wider toe and looks less tailored.

Nice look but a bit big. I am a true 10 and these are big on me- and are a 10.
