Ridiculous sizing. I couldn't even BEGIN to get these on my foot. I'm accustomed to Merrells running a bit on the small side, so I ordered a 10.5 instead of my usual 9.5 or 10.0, but the gusset was far too small to get my foot past the ankle area. I have other Merrell zip-up boots (the Jungle Mid Zip Polar) that fit just fine, but the zipper on those goes down much further and creates a larger entry point for your foot.

Ridiculous sizing. I'm reliably a size 9.5 or a 10.0, but years of experience with Merrell have taught me that they tend to run a little small, so I ordered these in 10.5. I have other Merrell boots in 10.5 that fit perfectly, but I couldn't even begin to get these on my feet. That zippered opening is way, way too small. I pulled mightily on the flimsy strap at the back of the ankle, but to no avail. They look well made, but what a huge design flaw!
